Tbf it wasn't just the fact going to St Marys felt like it became a chore having to sit through dire foitball week in week out that did it for me , I missed a few games due to work and other commitments and call it petty the fact there was no loyalty discount for renewals just a flat rate for old and new season ticket holders it made me feel that even though I've had mine for over a decade being a season ticket holder doesn't really mean what it used to!

Continue to make money , People aren't investing in premier league clubs for their own egos these days there is serious profit to be made if you are wise . Imo the board/owners couldn't care less how we play as long as we stay in the premier league, Being all gung ho and possibly dropping points isnt what they want to see they just want to see those premier league pounds keep rolling in .

Last season sucked all the fun and excitement out of football for me it's now quite liberating not having a season ticket or the chore of having to go to Sms every home game !

From the first game I saw us play last season it was glaringly obvious that there was a massive space between the lone front man and the rest of the team . Why we have gone from 1 big man with 2 smaller quick players playing around him to the way we play now I'll never know .

Imo the thing that is stopping our attacking play from being as good as it used to is that we no longer have or play with a striker capable of holding the ball up Al la Lambert or Pelle allowing our midfield to catch up and overlap . Some people will say "we no longer play that way" but it worked so well for 5 or 6 years maybe we need to find that type of striker in january and go back to what served us so well in the past !?
