If you cut out the supply from and to Pelle then we will struggle to score. We need other options and Djuricic, Mane, Long and even Elia make that possible.

It's not as simple as that. Yes in the ideal world Djuricic will fit seamlessly into the No. 10 position. He will take on the high pressing and energy levels of Davis and JWP and the cutting edge and goals that we have missed in his position. It's just that it's asking an awful lot of a player who hasn't even trained with the team yet.

Fortunately Mr Koeman knows a Little bit more about football than The critical posters on this thread. JWP is a wonderful football player and we're lucky to have him.

After injuries players need a little bit of time to back into it. I doubt all three will immediately return. Would also be very unfair on Reed, who has been our best midfielder during this injury period.
