Long has everything, except an eye for goal. Two bad misses that will be analyzed and he will learn from them. He is a work in progress. I am very confident that goals will come.
If our squad was playing for Manchester United they would be expecting at least Champions League qualification. Don't underestimate how good our team is.
He's looked shaky the last couple of games. In the 1st Stoke game there were 2 times the ball was played in and he should've called and taken it, instead of it cleared away by a defender - No communication? In the cup game he moved really slowly for the 1st and should've punched the ball away not long before the 2nd.
I don't agree with this Forster on both occasions came for the ball, but on each occasion the defender chose to head away. They were both defender making the decision. I would expect this to be cleared up the trainers for the next match.
I think Jay will be happy just to play football again at a premier league standard let alone for a top team.
People need a reality check. This was a serious career threatening injury.
I feel we missed Wanyama in the first 20 minutes or that it took Cork 20 minutes to settle? Interesting that Tadic was also not really in the game first 20 minutes
Both Koeman And Pelle are correct. We weren't the best side in the first 20 minutes. Pelle missed a lot of good chances today. I think the scoreline flatters us. We got an awful lot of luck today. Clear penalty and sending off of Forster was pivotal to the result. On another day we might have lost this match.
I was thinking What it Sound like if 25,000 Saints Fans started Koeing.
Rather like at the Ryder Cup with Boo Weekley.
Think it would sound amazing.
Maybe put that with Don't cry for me Pottechino and then Koe, Koe, Koe
