  1. Rickie made his Bench and now he must sit on it. Pelle is an improvement on Rickie (in this form). However there is a lot more that Pelle can improve on. He is far from the finished article. Sometimes he gives the appearance of being lazy. He needs to work harder on closing down. He also needs to attack crosses better and get in front of the defender.
  2. Davis instead of Ward Prowse playing behind Pele and in front of Schneiderlin and Cork. Clearly we will press the ball hard today. Starve Newcastle of oxygen. Today will all depend on quality in the final third.
  3. Cork & Schneiderlin playing holding midfield
  4. 4-2-3-1
  5. Funny how we see things differently Cork instead of Wanyama must be seen as more attacking West Ham second half
  6. Very attacking. Very positive.
  7. Forget it! You're doing it for you and not the child. It will be too loud and you will need to leave at half time. The child will be scared after the experience. Wait until 6 years old. Try local football first. Get them used to crowds and noise. Leave after 15 mins
  8. Two substitute appearances for Red Bull Salzburg. Hasn't really made many appearances in his career. Think we can put this one to bed. Unlikely at best.
  9. Not ITK, but there is a Tunisian Connection??? I have Mr Jaidi mobile number maybe I'll Ring him. If I can be bothered
  10. Friend of Raidi Jaidi. 1 + 1 = 2. Don't think it has legs. Agent gossip.
  11. Take your anti England specs off and see that that the performance was actually encouraging. Jack Wilshere is the weak link and defensively we look ordinary, but up front we look alive, fast and very dangerous. Thought the pressing was very Southampton like from last season.
  12. No game in the Premier league is easy.
  13. Big club culture. Woy is the wong manager. Last paycheck!
  14. I think he's brilliant and one of a kind. You need characters in life.
  15. You can also apologise for spelling Les Reeds name wrong!
  16. I'm proud of myself! At Brighton I shook Les Reeds hand and told him what a great job he was doing under such incredible pressure and that his shoulders must be broad. Turns out my faith in him has been rewarded with expectation. Well done Les Reed
  17. Just been looking at the pictures on saintsfc. Have a look at pictures 20 & 21. Is that tackle not a straight red card. Both feet off the ground, studs up. Incredibly dangerous.
  18. Mane stats mean nothing as he plays in a very poor Austrian Bundesliga
  19. Is 1288 viewing a new record for us. Very impressive!
  20. p.s. I watch a lot of Austrian football.
  21. Exceptionally pleased with signing Mane. This boy has unbelievable balance and control. Wow very excited!
  22. Take his stats with a pinch of salt the Austrian Bundesliga is very poor. Probably as good as our championship or League division 1
  23. As I come from Austria I can also report that he is an exciting player. Would be very pleased if he signed for Saints
  24. I think its very relevant to drag up threads like this. It very much highlights the knee jerk reactions of some of the posters. Change is not always bad and is always inevitable. These days nobody seems to have enough patience or trust. Mistakes will always happen its human nature, but we should also not forget the fantastic work Les Reed has done over the summer under extraordinary pressure. We are competitive and there is life after Adam, Luke, Rickie and Dejan. If anything should be learnt it's that we should be more patient.
