I know where your coming from. My OP was using Carroll as an example to highlight how crazy transfer fees etc have become. Also its worth noting that Torres's fee will be payed in 4 yearly installments. I would assume the Suarez and Carroll deals are done similarly. They only way I think it might stop is, as someone else said, pay the fee in full straight out.
