  1. "'I know people criticise his presence but, with respect, I am working solely for the interest of the club." I thought the role of administrator was to get the best for the CREDITORS
  2. Just noticed the poll on the right side of that page..... C'mon everybody, vote for Glenn Hoddle!
  3. Now if my memory serves me correctly, didn't they have to have a CVA agreed before the date they join the football league (3 June?) of they would have another points penalty? The 14 days notice would make it the 10th June to vote on the CVA by the creditors. From the article: It is likely the CVA proposal will be sent out to creditors tomorrow morning, ahead of the planned creditors' committee meeting to be held with administrators tomorrow afternoon. After the CVA proposal is sent out, creditors will be given 14 days notice of a meeting of all the club's creditors. At this meeting, creditors will vote on whether to agree fully, agree conditionally or refuse the deal the administrators are offering.
  4. Slipping in an extra zero, and hoping nobody notices you mean? Who'd hire an administrator like that!
  5. Only 1,500 more views to the magic million Do you reckon we might make it today?
  6. People who hog the middle lane People who speed up when you overtake BT My crappy Samsung Jet mobile phone Indian Call centres In fact, all call centres Avram Grant
  7. But will the Greatest Fans In The World ™ turn up? It'd be embarrassing if there were only a few hundred!
  8. Doesn't it change somewhen around 1 June officially (after all of the playoffs conclude)? So if there are any more 'revelations' before then it is up to the Prem to deal with it, but after then it will be the FL.
  9. Another 42 days....
  10. Funny cos he was having breakfast at St Davids hotel in Cardiff on Wednesday morning. I saw him, looking miserable, tucking into some cereal.
  11. Kids TV programs? Seriously, start your own thread and don't hijack this one. WTF has any of that got to do with the Pompey situation? Keep it on subject, or start your own thread, don't ruin this one.
  12. When is the creditors meeting. Anyone heard anything?
  13. Draper Tools?
  14. If you look at the second of the references on wikipedia: http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/construction_and_property/article641398.ece Millionaires who owe billions - he's definitely right for Pompey then!
  15. Don't know how recent, but it was on the South Today lunchtime news today. If it was before the Norwich game, maybe they've just caught up. Mind you, I hadn't heard anything about Saints moving away from St Mary's, but then I have been spending a lot of time following Pompey's demise in the lounge
  16. And just to clarify, the target was playoffs THIS year
  17. This probably deserves a new thread or two, but I can't seem to find anything on this on here - On South Today lunchtime news covering the build up to the match, they quoted Cortese as saying that Alan Pardew was given money for new signings on the understanding that the playoffs were the target, And the second surprise, was the quote that "Saints may leave St Mary's to build a bigger stadium"
  18. You've got to admit though, there has been quite a lot of stuff that has turned out to be true that appeared here long before it appeared in the press. And a lot of the questions we've been asking, were asked by HMRC barristers in court - something they wouldn't have done if we were spouting 'outright lies'. Admittedly, there has been some crap from our side, but you can't honestly say there hasn't been from yours as well. As for vitriol and hate, some posts made last night towards you in particular I found distasteful, although my impression is they were alcohol fueled, and while I think healthy banter is good for both sides, lets try not to make things personal, eh?
  19. Isn't it £1m a season for rent?
  20. A semi stands out a mile....? He's in the wrong job then!
  21. Anyone know what time they are in court tomorrow?
  22. As a Hampshire council tax payer, I do hope that the Police have been paid up front for their costs associated with today's fixture at portsmuff. I'd hate for the rest of us to have to service their debts in higher council tax bills.
  23. Don't slag the guy off before he has played a game for us yet. Could it be he didn't shine against us because our attack makes a lot of defences look ordinary?
  24. Gotta love the arsenal fans... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newshome/Pompey-fail-to-pay-players.5950081.jp?CommentPage=4&CommentPageLength=10#4767936
  25. Maybe Ian Wright can use him now.....
