He was not a naturally-talented guitarist. If you read Geoff Emerick's book about the Beatles Here, There and Everywhere (he was the chief engineer on Revolver, Sgt. Pepper ..., and Magical Mystery Tour), George often had a difficult time working out and perfecting many of his guitar solos. Geoff remembers several occasions in the studio when George would keep the others waiting for ages whilst he struggled with a particular solo. Paul sometimes played the lead instead, often nailing it on the first take. BTW, I don't think anyone mentioned Jeff Beck - an amazingly versatile guitarist - I love his jazzy stuff.

Richard Thompson - because he's a great acoustic guitarist AND electric guitarist. Not only that, he's also a great songwriter too!

If we were talking about the blackberry fruit, then the plural would indeed be blackberries; but since Blackberry, here, is naming a brand of electronic device, then the plural would simple take an s. IMHO Here's another example: our local National Hockey League team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, not the Toronto Maple Leaves. Strange but true!

"Blackberry's"? To make a plural noun just add the s; there is no apostophe required.

That's because they're probably striving for mediocrity.

I've been checking out Saints Player in preparation for tomorrow's game against Millwall. My subscription from last season doesn't expire until November, so I presume I should be able to coonect to the new system without problem; however, when I click on "Sign In" on the Saints Player page - in order to enter my ID and password - the screen goes dark and freezes. Anyone experiencing the same? Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.

To prefer one over the other is simply a category mistake. I support Saints in the English FL club scene. I support England in the international scene. No problem. BTW, the mid-sixties were the golden years for me: Saints were promoted to the First Divison and England won the World Cup.
