With the Valery horror show and Bertrand red card where does this leave us for the next few games? Players out of position again? Surely we can’t chuck young players in as it could destroy them too? We have average midfielders, poor defenders and uninspiring attackers. I’d put McCarthy in, Armstrong, Long but not sure who else. I can’t pick a team or formation. I can’t really see many changes that can be made. The players are bad but not THAT bad or it would happen every week. It looked like the players weren’t playing for the manager. The tactics seem to difficult for the players to implement. We keep leaving ourselves exposed. I’m not sure Ralph can stop the rot when he slates players in public and then requires them a few weeks later. When he arrived he was more Klopp with energy and enthusiasm. Now he is Mourinho: angry, miserable and seemingly falling out with players and potentially staff. I don’t know why this has happened. Ultimately I blame Les Reed for overseeing this drastic decline which will take years to sort out.

I’m pretty sure he said he was ‘thinking about it’ rather than definitely decided. Adam Leitch can spout some rubbish at times so I’d take his comments with some caution. He said on the podcast that the fans’ forum is pointless and we don’t learn anything; he has a chip on his shoulder- he thinks he should be the only person to ask the club’s employees questions- trying to big up his own importance. However, he previously commented on the fact that Ralph had revealed he was looking for an assistant at the fans’ forum, info he’d not be extracted from Ralph himself. Laughable.

The right to challenge these sarcastic and inappropriate comments with equal force that they’ve been given, yes! Good night!

To summarize for the masses:. I’m defending minority groups or discriminated groups and agreeing with the club’s plea for help in stamping this out and yet I’m inappropriate. Anyone that thinks these racists/homophobic/sexist etc comments are appropriate is unpleasant. end of. At the very least they hold very unpleasant view. That backs up exactly what the club is trying to fight. I’m proud of my club for doing so! If people think I’ve been aggressive then think about the abuse these minority/ discriminated against groups have to suffer on a regular basis Well done Saints for attempting to stamp out this behaviour.

I’ve heard ‘get up you poof’ or something similar a number of times at St Mary’s when a player has gone down under a challenge. It’s not just racism. I actually think that most people realise this is seen as really bad even if they don’t actually believe it themselves (yes, there are still some inherently racist people) but homophobia and sexism is still seen as fair game by a fair few. You can clearly tell due to those people on here who have no concept of modern society or decency.

You really don’t have any understanding of people’s feelings do you. As long as people can have a ‘good time’ to hell with everyone else. Why can’t people enjoy themselves and shout racist/homophobic/sexist comments? If you can’t distinguish between people being repugnant and some slightly drunken behaviour that says more about you than the people who wish to stamp out this behaviour. Clueless.

Yeah. Mock the fact that the club want to deal with people who can’t integrate into modern society because they think they have the right to shout racist, homophobic or other discriminatory comments. Very clever. Some people on here show why these rules are needed as some people don’t know how to behave. Of course it’s stupid to deal with behaviour that is old fashioned and outdated. Bertrand isn’t faultless either! He seems to go under the radar. He didn’t want the ball as much and cost us the third goal. Don’t forget his error. He often makes mistakes which don’t get picked up.

Long always seems to do well against Liverpool.
