Do I think MP can take us to the next level (whatever that means)? Yes Is it apparent as of now? No Do we look better defensively? Yes Are we scoring more/the same? No In conclusion The jury is out but if we play every half of football as we did 2nd half against West Ham (with a little more luck) then the jury will come out with a thumbs up - if not.......the horses head will be deposited in MP's bed. Long way to go yet tho and IMHO we just need a couple of wins under the belt.

Thought Ayutthaya was pretty spot on - got the train there and back. Also try and get to the reclining Buddha - along with the Grand Palace both excellent for sight seeing. Will endorse Phils option of the Food Center on Soi 7 - great food and cheap. Limpini park is nice to get out of the chaos and not far from Patpong night market. Nana plaza is pretty tame so if you want to have a gander I'm sure the missus won't feel threatened - mine wasn't.

The pass for his first assist was absolute quality - Hoddle in his prime would have been more than pleased with that pass. Welbeck did well to get on the end of it from where he started but it was the pass that set it all in motion.

As to unions being scum - women would not have the same equal rights for pay as men if the Unions didn't exist. A lot of the laws that protect your employment are a direct result of the lobbying of Unions in the past. Too many people have a Maggie Thatcher attitude to the Unions - the Unions are there to support their paying members and act upon their members views. As to going on strike - do any of you really believe that any working man or woman in these times of decreasing living standards really wants to lose money? I don't. Going on stike isn't the first thing they want to do - its the last thing. I'm not endorsing a return to the 70's - its all about balance and that balance since dear old Maggie was in power has shifted to far to the rich fat cats.

Yep it's a joke - prem teams should not be allowed to loan players to competitors. The fact that the player cannot be played against the club that he is loaned from is totally irrelevant . No problem with them being loaned to lower league sides.
