Good season. Played out of position at the start but like any good pro got on with it. Thought he came into his own in the 3rd quarter of the season but tailed off towards the end. He needs to improve and I think he will because he has the right attitude - or doesn't at least come across as a Billy big spuds.

I work with a Celtic fan - he travels back every weekend. And you're right they do. But as he said money talks and if we offer the amounts mentioned then they will sell.

The Barcelona team of a couple of years ago had in the main players that had been playing years together. The team gets refreshed as and when required. It's a long term policy which seems to work for them. IMHO the greatest teams always have continuity and that's not just managers.

Very good OP. An England cap nowadays just = a bigger pay cheque each week from the club. Ohh I'm an International therefore I am worth more - not when you are in a less than average side your not. Is Rio Ferdinand in your top 4 CB's in the world? If not then he is not worth the £250,000 pw (yes that is per week cost to the club). TBH I wouldn't want any of our up and comings anywhere near that bunch of International losers.
