Tbf Pellegrino played Obafemi and pretty sure he had Valrey on the bench a few times. It's pretty much just Hughes who didn't seem to like young players.

Lemina on the bench is comforting. There aren't that many situations where I wouldn't bring him on with 20 minutes to go and change things.

Imagine you're the Saints manager. The club tell you, in January, either Gabbi or Austin will be sold and it's up to you which one. No option to sell both, no option to keep both. I'd take £40 Million for Lemina plus add-ons based on achievements while he's at the club. £30 Million isn't enough though IMO.

There's no way we've spent £13 Million on a keeper to just warm the bench. Gunn has obviously been signed in preparation for a big team coming in with an offer for McCarthey. Once McCarthey leaves (I think he deserves a crack at the big time), Gunn will be our first choice.

Saints used to put up on their Facebook the goals when we win with Solent commentary. Do they still do this? When we win I just love watching it all from all different angles with all different commentaries.

So many streaks came to an end today. Arsenal's unbeaten run. Our winless run against the top teams. Our winless home run. I dread to think when the last time we scored three in a game was...Everton?! Our no goals from headers run. Can't think of the last time we had two strikers score either in one game either? Also while we're at it, when was the last time we scored a goal in the last 10 minutes that actually changed things (ie not consolations)?!

Absolutely buzzing. Just finished watching it. Recorded it and didn't turn on my internet all afternoon or evening to avoid the score. There were a few moments when I just thought, for the sake of my nerves, I'll just go and have a look at the result but I'm glad I didn't because the out poor of emotion at the final whistle was well worth it.
