Yes. The object of the game isn't to hit the post or cause the keeper to make saves. It's to score goals. If team a scores one goal from one shot and wins 1-0, while team b have 20 shots, hit the post 6 times and force a dozen saves, team a are the better team. Saying you deserve to win a football match because you've hit the post the most times is like claiming you deserve to win at Monopoly because you've rolled the most doubles.

If we were "by far" the better side, we'd be winning.

Looked average at best. Pretty of effort and his heart's clearly in the right place and love his work rate but ultimately, not good enough.

This is not a new thing. He's not slow. That's literally it. Not overly quick either, mind you. Woeful tackling, can't head, absolutely horrendous crossing (half the time they just go straight out for a goal kick). Oh and he did that one good free kick that one time.

IMO, he looks more competent than Valery but neither are anywhere near the finished product.
