  1. Does Malcolm play in the centre? If so, the headlines write themselves.
  2. Blatant penalty. Arm up in the air and was used to control the ball.

    Danny Ings

Sturridge though, when he is fit, guarantees goals. Ings is still unproven at this level.
  4. Call them and ask!
  5. Tempting, that!
  6. The Brazil National side do a lot of things we don't do tbf.
  7. Yoshi. Bertrand looked like he couldn't be arsed half the time last season.
  8. For most clubs but we usually have enough drama to keep us going.

    Danny Ings

Yes! I was in there above. He used to play with us in the morning beforehand on the astro-turf. For everything I said about him being cocky, he was actually a very unselfish footballer and usually seemed quite happy to "dumb" himself down to suit our ability.
  10. Didn't we win 18-0 or something in Sweden once under Burley?

    Danny Ings

As posted on another thread: I went to school with Ings and used to move in the same social circles to him (though I wouldn't say we were friends, just acquaintances). I spent years listening to him talk about how much he hates Saints because we rejected him. He's a cocky bastard too. The type that will say "Hey look at the funny looking tree next to my brand new car...". He'll also buy a homeless person a meal but make sure everyone knows he's doing it. Don't get me wrong, better than not doing it at all and ultimately he's a good bloke but taking all that into consideration, plus his injury record, I really don't think he'd be a good signing.

  13. I've forgotten why we even hate him. Something about not kissing a badge or some crap?
  14. Genuinely thought that was Mario Licka at first. I wonder if his misses is anything like Mario's!
  15. No idea, cousins are big Palace fans and living in Southampton so just put on Facebook that they're in for him. Funny how the rest of the country seems to think he's amazing.
  16. Forster to Palace apparently.
  17. He never looks happy. He just has that one facial expression.
  18. Why do you hate yourself for saying it?
  19. Totally agree. I'm not sure why anyone thinks I'm saying we should keep him. I completely agree, there's no room for sentiment. However it works both ways. Players rightly need effective clubs. There's no room for sentiment there either. That's literally all I'm saying. We can't whinge when players show us no loyalty. Finally someone gets it.
  20. JWP played there a couple of years ago in a cup game against Ipswich at home and he was absolutely gash.
  21. No. I think because he's English, there's probably some decent money to be made from selling him. Nice lad but I think he's just slightly off the standard of players we should be looking to sign. HOWEVER I'm just saying, we cannot then whinge because players and managers deem us as not good enough as a club.
  22. I agree but it works both ways. I wouldn't say he's sh1t just not particularly good. He'd do a good job for a promoted team. But you can't expect loyalty towards clubs when clubs don't give it.
  23. Why do we expect players and managers to have loyalty to clubs when clubs don show them any?
  24. Koeman used to play Bertrand as a CB in that formation. He did alright from my memory.
