I think it would be incredibly unlikely for 3 teams to finish with less than 25 points, however there are some really poor teams in the mix at the bottom; looks like a crazy-low points tally will keep someone up. Will be interesting to watch as we drive on towards another top 10 finish..... (which is surely...umm.. possibly, possible?)

In the past it has been hard to see what his best position is..... now it's even harder to see how he could fit in anywhere. Time for him to move on I think.

Very good post. We need to snap out of the mundane attitude that has gripped the club for the past few seasons. I remember a comment from Puels season where apparently players were frustrated about standards slipping.... Bertie if I recall correctly. Time to reset.

The squad is about as good as last season. We have a FAR better manager. Who has some time to assess before the January window. We don't have Les, being Les. We have more time to escape than last season. The squad lacks confidence..... but that is a state: it's not an unchangeable fact. We will stay up, and do so fairly comfortably.

He made an interesting point about how his approach requires serious time on the training field to instill, and how we have a lot of games over Christmas, so not so much time to spend training. So it will be interesting to see how quickly and in what areas he changes the team in the short term. Will it be more evolution or revolution in approach to games? Poch made some seemingly major changes quite quickly..... I wonder if it is possible for him to do the same? Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.
