"Saints considering Mauricio Pochettino" - Daily Mirror

Just no. -
I like Chung; seems a decent bloke and a good player. Better than Barnard, better than Sharp. Think his injury came at a bad time: when he was beginning to get into life in the English league, when he had started to form a good partnership with SRL. Remember games where it was clear his movement was beyond that which the other players could anticipate or utilise; and NA said as much. The squad has moved on now, and we no longer play with 2 strikers, so I do think he is on borrowed time: may not even be with us come February. Massive shame since I think he could do a very good job in front of Ramirez. Can't say a bad word against him. But maybe not the type of player our squad has room for now.

OR.... We're going to announce two new signings? OR.... Forren is being used to force the hand of someone else? (Astori? A.N.Other?) OR.... The BVI loan hasn't made it to the club bank account yet The hold up does seem a little strange though - has he been training with the squad?

That'd be a cracking sequel to 'Escape to Victory'.

"Weelll Gaarry; Liverpool would never of signed him - clearly not the quality we neeed. You can't buy a Premier League quality centre back for less than £10M anyway. Feels like a good budget signing for a small team like Southampton. D'you like my new jumper by the way?"

Going to get an eReader. I like the look of the Kindle Paperwhite - I want something I can use in the dark. But I may want to listed to MP3 on it too, which the Paperwhite won't allow. Anyone use a Kindle Fire? Is it a decent reading experience? Seems like it might be too heavy to me....

Great win. Winning when playing **** is always good! Boruc was good today; Shaw great in the first half. Lambert a legend; J-Rod never stopped working; Ramirez cannot play wide left! That said: We desparately need a commanding, leading centre back. Top priority. We have to find other options out wide. Puncheon flatters to decieve. If we play 2 up we need someone on the left that isn't Ramirez. De Ridder is ****: such poor decision-making. I REALLY don't like that we have the habit of sitting back and trying to hold out. It's cost us too much this season. Somehow we seemed to be in second gear for most of the game too - really didn't get going apart from 15 minutes in the first half. Very lucky today.
-
We sitting too deep now. Nervous. Too much like the Stoke game.
-
Really need another goal. Message to NA...... DO NOT try and tighten up and see out this game. We need to keep at them to the end.
-
Can see why Villa are struggling - they have even less leadership and defensive organisation than us. Did play a few nice triangles in the last few minutes of the half though. We're pretty direct, but seem to be playing below par. Seems like there is another gear for us to kick into. Need to keep exploiting the wide areas, that's where we're getting best results. Clear dive for the penalty.
-
"Nigel, Nigel, show us your knees, show us your knees......" etc.
-
Ad am doing the side-step running thingy? Guess his knee is not as bad as feared then....
-
Need the Don to do a cracking sales job, and Gaston to phone him and and tell him (again) about the English vag. Sell the dream boys, sell the dream.....
-
Hope not. We need to avoid ****ing around too much. I'd rather have Jos, with Cork in midfield. That'll help us massively in ball retention, and protecting the back 4. Jos played okay the other week anyway when we have Yoshi at RB.
-
Wonder if the original paper-link was being spun by the agent to increase any offers from us. Think this will be another one that drags on.
-
This for me. That midfield is our strongest; we need Guly slinging in the crosses, Lambert bullying their weak defence and Ramirez/Puncheon exploiting the panic. Have to get at them straight from the off, and show self belief. TEAR IT!

Based purely on the Wiki page, this guy looks decent (yes....I know). But 20 years old; 6 foot 4; impressed for Juve; Scandinavian. Could be good. Happy if we are pillaging Italy. If we can get quality players cheap then why not. As a rule players in Italy are more technically gifted than their English counterparts. Makes sense to me.

Just back from the game thread - Bradford v Villa
Suhari replied to Yorkshire Saint's topic in The Saints
We're going to rip them a new one. I feel it in my 'roids. -
You need to wiggle your arse more as you walk. "He was asking for it; the slag."
-
There are some sickos in the world.
-
Exactly this. We wouldn't be spending if we could afford it. Cortese is no fool; he may be taking calculated risks, but he is no fool. Far rather we bought young, expensive players with resale value than old heads without.
-
Doubt we'd get rid of him, but I do believe he will evolve into our 'off-the-bench plan B' (not the singer!) Players like Ramirez and this fella clearly benefit from, and reward, more movement in front of them. J-Rod will be that guy.
-
Good deal if true. Like the guy, but I truly believe he isn't prem quality.
-
Wow. Surely not? Love that we're linked with these type of players, but really can't see it.
-
I think he could really thrive in a team with Ramirez; can't see it happening though sadly.
