**** me, have I started a thread on the main board? Great result; great performance. Cork was excellent; Gaston quality - and will get better. Lallana better. Shaw - great prospect. Bit worried about G-Niga. COYRS! Pub now.
-
LOL at the 'Harry come and save us' banner with the home fans!
-
Been thinking this all game. Moaning at EVERYTHING!. Plonker.
-
Yep. His sack is full and he know here all the kiddies live.
-
Yes - get in!
-
We need Davis dropped for JWP. No coincident that the midfield looked better earlier in the season with JWP in it. Rameriz has to play more centrally.
-
That was a quick interview! Nice Merc he's got though.
-
You've summed up my schizophrenic thinking perfectly here. It's a real dilemma. I REALLY want us to stick with him; option 1 works. But then I see how little effort the players are putting in - do they want him to succeed? And a big NO to Hoddle from me.
-
Hope you're not quite so premature with your missus.
-
IF NA went, and I now hope he doesn't, he would be replaced by someone for the remainder of this season only. WGS, HR type. Then we'd get Di Matteo in the summer.
-
So many comments about what a git and nasty piece of work Cortese is. But what FACTS do we have to back this up? I would love to see them. Fans are jumping on a guy that has brought stability, a trophy, a massive winning percentage and two promotions. And doesn't mouth off in the press, comment on managers, buddy up to the footballing old school or self publicise. Either list the facts on what, specifically, Cortese has done which is so bad, or stop posting ********.
-
If NA goes it'll be a temp replacement until we get Di Matteo when Pep goes to Chelsea.
-
It's the lack of passion from the players that jumps out at me. Fight for the cause ffs!
-
20 mins left. Looking stale; make a change ffs. We need some energy and bite out there!!!
-
C'mon Nige. Do something.

AL and GR aren't wingers. We need to pull another body into the middle.SRL or JR off, Mayuka on, on the right. 4-5-1 with GR roaming.WBA aren't all that.
-
Mixed feelings. Not sure there is enough pace in that side. Would have preferred Mayuka to J-Rod. That said he is a decent impact player. Time for J-Rod to step up. Potentially a lot of fluidity there though.
-
In the context of the long term plan, and given the improved parachute payments, would it REALLY matter if we went down this year? What is the worse that would happen? We'd lose a few high profile players for £££££££. Gaston, Lallana, SRL; couple of others. And with our **** hot academy, and financial clout, surely we'd bounce straight back up? NA has shown he can drag us out of the Champ, and with a little more experience he might be the guy to take us to Europe. Continuity counts. OR: We MUST stay up this year, even if we employ a saggy faced **** to make sure we do. Mentally I'm 50:50 on this. Torn up like a cheerleader on prom night. Wonder what the rest of our fans really want from their team?

Summary of Nigel's Post-Match interview after Leeds
Suhari replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He is such a good guy, and will one day be a top, top manager. But I think he is going to walk 'in the best interests of the football club'. And in about 7 years, when he is lifting a trophy with England, we'll say he used to be ours. -
No. In the main, as individuals those are decent players. KD has been great for us; Chappers, at times ace (and oft called for by some this season); Guly does a good job; Hoov was superb last season; Butterfield solid; JWP has shown he has quality above his age; Lee showed class last year; Mayuka great potential this. These guys should have the quality to see off Leeds. Or t the very least get a shot on target........You don't lose your abilities in a few months. It's what's going on between their ears that now concerns me. The lack of organisation, passion/drive and i would suggest confidence is the worrying thing.
-
It's all gone wrong. Seriously, something is not right at Saints now. You simply don't lose the passion and momentum the squad has had for a few seasons overnight. Lost the dressing room? Players bored with training/lost faith? Adkins lost the drive? We need a statement from NC stating that in the interests of the Big Plan, no matter what happens NA is our manager until Christmas next year. If he is the man, then make him the man. Continuity rules, we'll accept relegation in light of the longer term. Or we need a change. Now.

Que? Not our first 11, but joke? Grow up!
-
Not a great deal of tracking back in that lineup. Delighted to see Lee start; glad Mayuka has a go from the off too. There's some pace there.
-
Great touch from Adam; poachers goal from j-Rod.
