  1. I picked the wrong day to quit drinking.
  2. Where's KWP in the list?
  3. Quality post sir. Been thinking similar since the Everton game. He's not the man he was a few years ago; which isn't great for Saints, but potentially far worse for him. He's lost himself somewhat I think. And any "fan" that suggests his salary should make him immune to the stresses and pressures of life needs a slap. Best thing is that he exits with dignity and takes a decent break before his next project.
  4. 80 minutes into re-watching the game.....sober. We weren't that bad. Really. On top second half, before we scored. Close to a second just before they went ahead. Then plenty of chances created after that. But for a couple of Pickford saves, and some bad finishing from AA and Che, we could of had 4. We lacked the quality press, and aren't as aggressive as before, but actually we weren't as shit as I remember. On balance I think we'll be fine this season. RH still has to go. I like him, but he's had his time here, and his train is ready to set sail.
  5. Yep. I see the first few paragraphs then it kicks in.
  6. I have strongly highlighted my views on RH: that he did an exceptional job keeping us up with a shit squad and a piss-poor backroom staff. And that he should be given a fair crack at the job under SR, with the new signings. I was all for the 'review after 12 games ' idea. Give the man a chance with a more suited set of players. Enough is enough now. The lack of cohesion, drive, purpose and press is incredible. What happened to the old RH 'lets be in their faces and hard to play against'? Where's the energy and youthful exuberance that this squad could deliver? Ralph: you have been really very, very good for us. And I thank you. I mean it. Sadly now it is time for a change. I do believe in SR. And I expect them to do the right thing. God I hope so.
  7. Tuning in from a bar in Chiang Mai. Interesting line up. Really looking forward to this!
  8. Eric Black. That bastard.
  9. Very poor. No-one played well. But not helped by the line up. Why was Djenepo at RM? He's a LB these days; or maybe a LM. And Moi staying on so long? Terrible decision. We clearly still have a few gaps in the squad, but surely we can do better than that?
  10. We've been fucking shit.
  11. I want to see the pictures Moi has of Ralph. Really curious what they show. Presumably a piano and a large toblerone feature heavily.
  12. Get Moi off, and one of the youngsters on. He's fucking pointless.
  13. Points. From. Losing. Positions. Let's do it again. Shirley we'll be better second half.
  14. We're lacking any real spark. Not a great game. Feels like we're in second gear....or just asleep.
  15. KWP. What a player.
  16. Just saw Aribo is. How'd I miss that?
  17. Good evening. So.... where are Aribo and AMN?
  18. There's a few Thai links on the forum. I'm in Winchester, but my dad splits his time between Chiang Mai and Korat; and Mrs Suhari is from Kalasin. Curious where you are?
  19. Oliver Bierhoff. When he eventually signs.
  20. I for one am completely thrilled about the prospect of watching us deliver a winningmost season and pushing for the southen-prem playoffs, with a team of MVPs and JWP leading our special-teams roster. The season end game: the World-Series of England-Super-Soccerdome-Bowl, held on July 4th, will be a beautiful 3-hour spectacular, spread over 4 scintillating, advert-supported quarters. And the winners rings a treasured item. We should welcome these changes. They will bring our ancient sport fully into the modern world. We will quickly get used to the midnight kick off times, knowing how they benefit the global audience and sponsors. The 14 referees overseeing the game will completely eliminate mistakes and the sillliness of VAR. LET'S DO IT!!!!! (And Pompey being in the minor leagues will be fucking hilarious)
  21. Have to say I am pretty fucked off by the postponement. I had genuine admiration and respect for The Queen: a truly honourable and great Briton. I am honestly saddened by her passing. For the FA to cancel football, The People's Game, and an activity many people love and 'live for', and look forward to all week, is a totally shit decision. Bring people together, have a minutes silence, sing the National Anthem, remember The Queen with fondness, play the matches. Enjoy life. Rugby has it right.

    Nathan Redmond

Respect for his leaving message. Classy. Presuambly I am WAY wrong in my unfounded assumption that he was a moody git! Sorry Redders.
  23. I wonder how Gordon Stachan's yogurt is these days?
  24. Saddened by this. RIP. In truth I'm not a huge fan of the Royal Family. Queenie though, as a person and figurehead was fabulous. Hard to think of our great country without her. Thank you ma'am.
  25. It does seem a short-tenure gig. They don't seem to be tryng to build/grow something. Would be very interesting to see how he would get on there. At Brighton does he do the ballet (and other wierd stuff) he used to do in Sweden?
