Some hit that was. Being completely outclassed. Unsurprisingly.

Wine glass fetish?

Jack Stephens was the best DM we ever had, but never played there. Apart from once, and he was shit. But that doesn't count. He needed a run of six games......! Fuck it. Let's give Lyanco a go there. At least we'd have some bollocks in the middle of the park.
-
Agreed. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
-
Wonder if that will result in the managerial change?
-
Lyanco skills!!

Good evening. Sounded okay first half in the car. Now watching it I see we've reverted to type second half.
-
Good shout. Let's hire Semmy Schilt. He'd kick a few of the squad into shape.

I had the same experience on Sunday. Had to switch to one of the links posted by the guys on the match day thread. Very disappointing level of service this season. Anyone know of alternatives? I don't mind paying as long as I get my money's worth!

Saintsplayer seems to be down. Was fine for 15 minutes.

I want to see energy, pressing and effort today. And move the damn ball quickly! 2-1 Saints.

I imagine SR are quietly doing their thing in the background, which they seem to prefer, and we'll get a sudden "XXX has joined as first team manager" announcement. There were no hints/ITKs etc with the coaching shake up in the summer if I recall. Just need to sit back and wait.
-
Agreed. It was not comfortable viewing. Very strange attitude and comments. As stated by plenty: SR seem to be no mugs. I'm sure they have plans.

We lost to one of the best teams the EPL has ever seen, at a time when we are in transition and in poor form. With a manager who is, in all likelihood, leaving us in the coming weeks. I'm not overly pissed off. I remain optimistic about the SR project. The next managerial appointment is crucial though. We all know that.

Crikey. Went out and mowed the lawn and it's still not 9. #pepout

RH will be going no matter what. So keep the score respectable to help the confidence of the squad.

Quality goal to be fair.

Good afternoon everyone and good luck. Strapped in and shaking.

I picked the wrong day to quit drinking.

Where's KWP in the list?

Quality post sir. Been thinking similar since the Everton game. He's not the man he was a few years ago; which isn't great for Saints, but potentially far worse for him. He's lost himself somewhat I think. And any "fan" that suggests his salary should make him immune to the stresses and pressures of life needs a slap. Best thing is that he exits with dignity and takes a decent break before his next project.

80 minutes into re-watching the game.....sober. We weren't that bad. Really. On top second half, before we scored. Close to a second just before they went ahead. Then plenty of chances created after that. But for a couple of Pickford saves, and some bad finishing from AA and Che, we could of had 4. We lacked the quality press, and aren't as aggressive as before, but actually we weren't as shit as I remember. On balance I think we'll be fine this season. RH still has to go. I like him, but he's had his time here, and his train is ready to set sail.

Yep. I see the first few paragraphs then it kicks in.

I have strongly highlighted my views on RH: that he did an exceptional job keeping us up with a shit squad and a piss-poor backroom staff. And that he should be given a fair crack at the job under SR, with the new signings. I was all for the 'review after 12 games ' idea. Give the man a chance with a more suited set of players. Enough is enough now. The lack of cohesion, drive, purpose and press is incredible. What happened to the old RH 'lets be in their faces and hard to play against'? Where's the energy and youthful exuberance that this squad could deliver? Ralph: you have been really very, very good for us. And I thank you. I mean it. Sadly now it is time for a change. I do believe in SR. And I expect them to do the right thing. God I hope so.
