Hmmm. Huge experience in the game, and certainly a big name. Showed leadership, loyalty and character during the silliness at Derby. I don't particularly like the guy and have no idea if he is (tactically and from a man-management point of view) any good. Probably better than Jones though!

I always was, and remain, a fan of the SR concept.....buy talented, highly rated youngsters, give them game time, sell at a big profit, rinse and repeat. Couple this with high-press, attacking footbal and we have a clear identity, which aligns to the best of our recent times. And credit to them: they have a few £££ and haven't been afraid to spend it. But their implementation of this has been utter dogshit. Woeful. Complete clusterfuck at every level. We need more than just kids: we need some experience around them; we need an experienced manager buying into 'the project' and we need less 'trying-to-be-clever-spreadsheet-bollocks.' Hoping we see a big clear out and refresh this summer, and quickly. I am quite excited to see what will develop; next season could be lots of fun.

Pretty sure Ostlund is long retired. That said, he'd still be a better option than AMN.

And Neil Shipperley is out on license*, so let's have him show us what he's got. (*Not true I know, but it worked for the gag).

Just knowing that we get to play against top EPL teams is what gives me the greatest pleasure. Warm and fuzzy: just like Semmens told us to be.

Seeing us win more games, score more and dominate teams. I hope. Seeing some of the youngsters come through and get game time. I hope. Seeing Alcarez and Sully run games for us. I REALLY hope.
