One of the idiosyncrasies of this Puel situation is that, if it comes to pass, the decision to let him go will be both harsh and entirely reasonable. Southampton haven’t been entertaining, but they’ve achieved a solid par in literal performance terms. The problem, instead, comes in the form of a Je ne sais quoi...something is wrong, but nobody knows quite what it is. The football he’s coached hasn’t quite been bold enough. The players don’t seem to like him quite enough. Away from home maybe but at home.....if people really want to talk about stats and rotation effects on here - go work out the last time the stadium was only a quarter full at an end of season walk around I can't remember it ever being that bad as this year. The fans decided to vote with their feet to show they had enough of what was being served up by a tactically inept management team - not just Puel. Oh and Sims was MOM the match in that Everton game ...he played a lot after that one didn't he! That taught him a lesson just like Clasie.

You have made every excuse under the sun . Do Hapoel and Prague have same facilities of course not, it was plain and simple poor tactics. We were behind to Watford at home. The examples you gave were just rotation to stop fatigue weren't they? Oh and I said home not away as that's my issue with him. You think its correct not to give a player 1 minute in the next 3 games after playing well and scoring something our midfield don't do? We scored so many goals at home that we could drop the one player that did score at Boro?
