  1. Like who ? Van Gall that worked....Moyes that worked...McLaren thats working....Garde doing really well...Fat Sam jury out....so can you suggest someone who can work with a club who constantly sells any player of substance? Has to rebuild from nothing, hands are tied by wage caps. Suffering from past chairman's foibles Ramirez and Osvaldo where we have to right off millions? Who do you think Redknapp, Pearson, Advocaat, Sherwood ? Don't get me wrong I am not happy with Koemans performance this year and I am wondering if he has given up myself but sack him?
  2. Or he has given up trying to as they just get sold? Soul destroying it must be. Apologies if too negative but from what I saw again on Saturday I am concerned and don't see where we go from here. The players don't seem to give a **** and have no bottle or fighting spirit (are they getting that from manager - Strachan Mk2?)- again I will say watch the replay after the first goal not one player was rallying them at all.
  3. That is what my mate and I were saying watching that dismal performance - we seem to have believed our own hype too much. The cupboard is bare for a few years - go out and buy the most promising youngsters from other clubs in Championship rather than believe the hype - it can't always produce gems and we are suffering from letting all go at u16 level a few years ago. Plus getting rid of Dodd and Williams. Out passed, out muscled, stamina and fitness weaker than before, shape and formation gone and not one person on the bench that could change things on Saturday...well one and our management team didn't see fit to. I would have hoiked Wanyama off after 20 minutes and put Romeu on who at least shows he can be bothered when I have seen him play and just maybe Dembele might have been tackled once or twice.
  4. Exactly that...Reed has lost his way due to better options blocking him earlier in season - although if you watch first team training he always seems to be involved. He hasn't been any great shakes for the under21's and he should be. Hesketh is the only other one and he is too lightweight. Seagar?? not sure on him personally misses too many at that level.
  5. Spot on did you watch the subs at half time? Spurs were fitness training no ball in sight. Ours were ambling about pinging it aimlessly. Spurs were fitter stronger with a game plan. We are blowing out of our Arse after 20. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Shelvey is exactly what we need in our middle. Can pass, score and is a nasty bastard. We obviously won't go for him but that is what we need. We need leaders not namby panby disinterested ponces Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Love it that Mail twitter is touting Brendan as quick fix....yep he did so well at Reading and Liverpool....
  8. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g188671-d2602583-Reviews-2be_Beer_Wall-Bruges_West_Flanders_Province.html try this place the beer in here is excellent - loads of different draughts. Nice to sit outside by canal too.
  9. Why not ? what are his weaknesses - how many times have you watched him? Is he not one Koeman can help? Or are you basing him as another Martina?
  10. If he is signed with another player like Austin yes definitely. He gives us an option we don't have now. Can't see it we don't play natural wide wingers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Had some really good chances to get a better result. Played some decent stuff against a very good City side. Doing better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I saw Imbula play and he looked quality but expensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I saw Kondogbia play recently and he looks an upgrade on Big Vic. If Arsenal have any sense they will sign him rather than Vic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yep they did when the goals were going in and at kick off all just had heads down - what I would expect from when my team concedes is for them to draw ranks - rally the team - did Davis/Mane do that or did they just do as they do most weeks and try? I am not talking about triers....I have no doubt v Liverpool they did. What I am saying is that in the games I mentioned above there wasn't one player that I saw do what I would expect from leaders of the team. Against Leicester we were bombarded not one of our midfield put in a battling performance second half - against Liverpool our midfield just ran alongside - perhaps I am too old school and my dreams of Jimmy Case re-incarnation are too much to hope for.
  15. Or their agents unsettling them by alleged approaches from Bayern/Barca/Spurs/Man Utd.
  16. There is a difference between what you and I think are leaders then, get sleeves rolled up , encourage, boll0ck others, gee them up and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and your idea of players busting a gut and trying. Brett Ormerod busted a gut would you say he was a leader?
  17. Really you have been watching a different team than me....not one player against Leicester, Liverpool, Man City took our team and rallied them - they just looked at the ground and hid
  18. Sam Byram isn't a right back - he can't get in Leeds side and has been playing right wing for last 2 seasons according to my Leeds mate.
  19. The problem with one player though is obvious - injured out for long periods and still have to pay his large salary. It didn't work with Osvaldo or Gaston plus you unsettle the others if you break the wage structure. We need to rediscover our identity - for me that's getting back an English spine or capable players of an English spine. We need to recruit leaders as we don't have any from what I have seen this season. The club does not have to spend a fortune to put us right - in my opinion we have lost 6 points from not having a right back other than Cedric and I can't believe there isn't one available in the Championship/L1 that can do a job at a sensible price. Austin for me is worth a gamble as is Matt Phillips - the one thing we don't have in our squad is someone to change the game or style when required - a wide man in the squad would help us. We need a Mark Noble type of player to compliment what we have.
  20. Exactly our squad is short on proven Premiership players yet here we have a post selling one of the most experienced!!! Bonkers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Plus he was also so brilliant at Hull he kept them up, was the first name on the teamsheet, they moved heaven and earth to sign him......oh
  22. A picture that paints a thousand words - exactly what I was screaming at last night - can someone send that to the Koemans!
  23. 5 things from last night 1. Klopp sussed us out pretty quickly put 3 men around Pelle who pick up his flicks and passes and starves us of possession - no plan B 2. Caulker had an absolute mare and not up to this level - we have no-one on our bench who can change a game 3. We have absolutely no leaders in our team - not one player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and boll8ck others 4. Koeman needs to tell our midfield they are allowed to tackle - running alongside isn't doing a good job and we are crap without the ball 5. It was a rubbish way to celebrate my birthday!!!
  24. Good post. That is what makes the signing of Martina even more odd - a right back that can defend and put in a decent cross surely cannot be that hard to find across the leagues? It's not like a 20 goal striker - everyone wants one but to recruit what all the Dutch fans thought was a joke yet can't get a game for love nor money strikes me as really odd in a position that should be easy to recruit in.
  25. Why is it a good call? Byram has been playing right wing not right back for over a season - he can't get in a shambles of a Leeds side under any manager and we don't play right wingers!!
