  1. But its not just a few quid more for some....in our case its over £230 more this year than last due to going from 16 to 17 now over £1200 for the both of us when in first year at college. We already dodged the bullet of moving one block over when our seats were all of a sudden classed as central when they were wing for 8 years! So its ok to be wing in League 1 and in the Championship but Prem its central ...this loyalty thing works well! Great if you can still justify and afford it some of us now can't but if that makes me less of a supporter ....tough but I will still attend a few games if the super fans allow that after 40+ years of taking my money at The Dell and ST holder since SMS opened.
  2. Am I being a bit too shortsighted in thinking that if it was Bruce or Mclaren then Hull or Derby would have publicly stated it as they would want to advertise the vacancy quickly? Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah but what a first game 5-2 away at Fratton with Norman Dean hattrick!!
  4. I am a plastic too ..only been going since 67 home and away - ST since SMS opened but this year didn't renew as couldnt afford the rise and £1200 was too much for me and my lad who is at college. Just wish I was a good fan as some on here interesting that only ST holders are true fans.....
  5. I was just going to post the same thing....its interesting that 3 times I have seen people praise Kelvin for his role in the club. I remember Pardew saying at a forum about how Kelvin looks after players fines - team discipline etc. Recently Rickie also praised Kelvin for team spirit and I have seen for myself he is held in high regard amongst the keepers at Staplewood.
  6. I was at Staplewood the night he broke his leg - was horrific and the screams told you how bad it was. Good luck to him at Bristol
  7. Thanks for that I have just ordered one - I was in JL recently and they were handing out tasters this was superb!
  8. Was a decent performance against an average Kent side - apart from Key they didn't look much and only Bollinger looked to have any fizz. Our batting looks good but again worry we don't have a cutting edge to take crucial wickets which was the problem last year as well certainly at finals day at Edgbaston last year. Disappointing crowd and think the bump up to £25 after 48 hours before a game is shooting themselves in the foot. Many times I know people that have waited on the weather before going and another £5 seems a bit too much.
  9. What is Caulker doing with Rooneys ex?
  10. What had Poch won before we employed him...near relegation with Espanyol!
  11. I'll beat MLG pedantry..England team haven't flown to Brazil...they are in Miami :-)
  12. 4# Shut the f up play well and a better club than Liverpool may come along and give us more and you will be better off.
  13. Where did you pluck this name from - just guessing, wishful thinking or grapevine??
  14. Just hope that nothing changes then that means you cannot afford to like many whohave to prioritise. Just because people don't renew doesn't mean they are not supporters.
  15. Well as there wont be anyone left from the last ruck he will have the opportunity to start another one here
  16. Yep...just hope we get as lucky with our next stepping stone striker
  17. We attracted Gaston and Osvaldo 2 internationals - didn't do us much good. This is why I am worried if we go for Hughton, Mackay, Mclaren as no way can I see them getting what we need. Moyes also for me we need someone to run the club apart from Reed - Moyes has that experience we require and wont bugger off in 18 months if doing well. We might get the frizzy haired goal scorer flop Fellaini from Man U on the cheap as well.
  18. Its 3 academy coaches - Murty has gone as well :-(
  19. Massive hoax.....how deep is your neck buried?
  20. Beat me to it :lol:everyone has a higher football profile than our board even Les at Charlton. Hughton had a higher profile at Norwich, Mackay very high at Cardiff under Tan, Shteeev for his Dutch talk and Wally Brolly wouldn't want any of those.
  21. 10-15 years ago? A style that has kept them in the top half for how long? What exactly is our style because its changed every manager we have had - Pardew then Adkins and the Poch so our style is what 18 months old at the latest? Do you not think that style can be found out - some clubs certainly did against us. I am not advocating Moyes but I certainly would not be unhappy with him as much as Hughton, Mackay etc
  22. Not so sure - have heard that Martin Hunter and those two didn't get on- it could be that the whole academy may change as TBH it works but doesnt bring any success. Many of the teams are just about developing the individuals rather than the teams winning - have watched quite a few games this year all ages and we play great technical football but get beaten a lot.
  23. So is he the reason for good over the last few years as well?
  24. Henrik Larrsson although he wouldn't stay long.....not Howe for me we need someone that can attract replacements. I think it will be low rent though so Hughton.
  25. In English... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/05/21/southampton-and-lazio-hot-on-oscar-ustari-tail/141617/
