I have no problem with loans, my problem is why we have left it until 1 friendly left to get the other replacement players in - what is stopping us signing them? Where is the problem - most footballers are mercenaries and will go where the money takes them. So far I think the signings have been fine its just central defence and a striker that will score enough goals that worries me now.

No probs...we all want to see good signings arrive and the best for the club, it doesnt matter where they come from. I can see value in Samaras actually as well , however I am impatientbecause Reed/Kruegar fed us all the stuff about the scouts, players wanting to join, players in this week etc yet we still have gaping holes especially at centre half that they have not delivered in weeks despite all the PR on OS/Media thats where the 20 scouts bothers me

That is you opinon and fair enough but the season starts in 2 weeks not 4 - we have had weeks to get in players we have known we needed. If we have a 20 team of scouts why have none delivered that is my question not bed wetting or panicking but a fact that we have not recruited.

Well it depends on whether you believe that or not - personally I don't believe a word Kruegar or Reed say - actions speak louder than words so why can't we get anything over the line? If you have the money we are alleged to have then its not as hard as we make it to be although its obvious when you sell your 5 best players then you become very unattractive especially if offering less wages than others.

I think it was just people including me were expecting Taider signing and hoping for Rojo - was initially underwhelmed but can see sense and if Ron wanted him then fair enough and have read he can improve players as well. Bertrand is a massive upgrade on Fox - nowhere near as bad as Olivier Bernard - Shaw created what 2 assists no goals - doesnt have much to beat :-)
