The point being some fans thinking our support has disappeared. ....it hasn't it's same always. Some good games some bad like every club. I have been home away for over 40 years seen terrible clubs and some great mainly when beating us.

No it hasn't why do people get all precious about it. Is there an award..badge of courage loudest fans? Some games its as good as ever some its rubbish like every club.

Why do Spurs have similar targets to us? Have they taken away all the sharp objects near you? What difference does it may about contract negotiations - don't you think their agents tout them around anyway to other clubs for a better deal regardless?

Well to answer the bit about youth scouts we have an army of them so wouldn't lose too much sleep, London clubs youth academies are a mare at the top level like Chelsea, Spurs etc many are a numbers game and shift them off with no thought. I have seen quite a number of young lads play for several different teams in a season..we have even recruited a fare number...we even have a London academy so Spurs don't worry me on that score at all. Agreed he will have details of our set up and how we do it but we let go Dodd, Williams and Murty last season and not doing too bad this year with their replacements. I am sure we could build in a clause somewhere about his activity in a certain area.....if possible. The guy came from MK Dons so am sure there are plenty of highly qualified people to replace him.

I counted five in green and white bands and only saw 2 Skate tops. Fair play to the army lads in full kit. Separate issue that makes me laugh at the moment is am priviledged to watch a few academy games - realy funny to see some parents in Pompey tops picking up their kids from the academy wearing full Saints kit sort of irony there somewhere!

SaintLard was slagging off Adkins in week 2 or 3 and stuck to that regardless of what results we achieved. If i could be arsed I would show you the posts but he backed himself into a corner and now just continues to dig in. Adkins did a brilliant job getting us to the Prem and was a breathe of fresh air with his honesty and I will always be grateful to him for his efforts.

I watched Long closely today and his work rate was immense What impressed me most was how much he made himself available to colleagues under pressure. Perfect foil for Pelle.

Was there on Saturday - pitches are amazing. The building at the back is progressing and the new areas look a big improvement from when SCW was here and you could watch the youth games and access via turnstiles etc. So to answer above yes money well spent and from what I saw - we will recoup a lot of that back on the conveyor belt of talent.
