  1. Saint Charlie please stop digging you will be in Oz if you go any further!
  2. Ask Tony Fernandez? What if we cant afford to sack him and Crosby?
  3. Yes but you were saying that after 5 games!!! You lost all credibility with that crap about losing the dressing room etc. Now you are in your 'I told you so' ****** glory shame for 2 years you have been totally wrong as bad as that numpty from Norwich.
  4. That is exactly it and no-one can argue with any of that...well on this forum they can. I was embarrassed with that defending and tactics last night....I have coached boys and girls for over 10 years and if any of them had turned their back.... and how you can have a defence that is so narrow a winger constantly has 10 yards with no-one anyone near him beats me. So easy to play against.
  5. Well Craig Levein has just resigned from the Scotland job - if we get stuffed at WBA tonight we could do a 'Burley'
  6. This made me smile but think its true... Clarke Carlisle ‏@clarkecarlisle5 “@darrenbyfield: Harry Redknapp watching the QPR game knowing its nearly his job and writing down his players *New Years list*” Ha haaa
  7. I'll play the ball not the man....that is exactly right Alps - what went on this summer certainly has left us wanting in all departments and our league position is a true one.
  8. Yes of course I did..that is a stupid question do you think that all the money and years supporting since 67 mean I don't want us to win every game? Did you like watching us throw games away against Man Utd and Fulham...We have a manager that has made some simply disturbing decisions why? I am not advocating sacking him just understanding why in this division he has got and continues to get so much wrong. I would rather we stick by Adkins than get that saggy faced git back
  9. Yep agree with all of that...and for me made the game against Leeds even more baffling. A win there would of lifted the gloom, with the subs bench we didn't even give us a chance of that. Pardew wanted to win every game and that started us back on the winning habit look where that took us. Wednesday took us back to the old days for me. I don't want us relegated but if we do it wont hurt half as much as 2005 did.
  10. Wrong, many of us don't see it all as the holy grail, my ideal would of been to finish top and stay in the Championship. Can anyone honestly say they enjoyed the first 60 minutes last week - Spurs never got out of 3rd gear - we were terrible against Wigan, West Ham and there is something terribly wrong since the Coventry game at the end of last season. We have a manager that has made some simply disturbing decisions why? I go to watch Saints win and enjoy the games with my lad - his ticket has doubled in the last 2 seasons. We went to Daggers for £31 for the two of us. Man City would of cost us £120. We are not equipped for this division and honestly don't believe we will be for a while yet.
  11. I understand your point but disagree, its far easier to raise £1m and the gates we were getting would cover those wages - and I can't believe he was on much at Bristol anyway. 12m + wages for Gaston wouldn't be covered - ok Sky money but that must cover all the other wage increases, bonuses etc of the squad.
  12. Went to the game there last year - concourse is poorly designed - cramped, the corners weren't filled in at that time and the atmosphere from them was poor apart from just that one big stand. The one bright thing was the real ale! Transport is a nightmare as everyone joins the same queue for the train and get on the same train and heard that its kicked off more than once. For the amount they paid for it 90+ its poor.
  13. Yeah that James Ward-Prowse and Ben Reeves will never make the first team....
  14. Well Willo is already here running the u13's academy team....and doing a great job as well.
  15. Its just the manner and odd decisons again tonight on top of the Man Utd substitution then doing the same against Fulham, dropping Lambert at West Ham, tonights bench was a joke - I understand the first team but where were the players to turn that game around if needed...and they were needed I dont think Nigel should go but there is something undoubtedly wrong at the club at the moment too many wacky decsions for someone that proved how good he can be for 2 seasons. What is the cause is what we should focus on not sacking Nigel that's where Lowe started going wrong.
  16. ...and winning breeds confidence....do you honestly believe we are even close to winning a game at the moment?
  17. Not forgetting Redknapp did exactly the same thing when he was here to prove a point to Lowe then slaughtered them
  18. I can understand giving the fringe players a game but that bench is a joke - all the eggs in one basket. Youth away at Leeds.
  19. Then go and read them again if you think its crap then because its clearly explained why...if you knew Dougal then you knew where he stood and you couldnt spit on the away fans from the boxes...it would of hit him!
  20. Jimmy Melia was mine but the useless bald headed numpty deserved it
  21. Well for one Dougal used to stand at the back of the Milton very near me if anyone was spitting it would of landed on him! On the rare occasion a firm did get into the Milton they were shepherded usually across to the far left and no-one would of been able to spit anywhere near them! One of the only firms that managed it were Glasgow Rangers in the Texaco Cup where there was carnage everywhere.
  22. Are you ******....there is so much wrong with your post it proves you are a skate. I have been going since 1967.....first away game was Skates 2 Saints 5
  23. That shows you really are a skate on a wind up...
  24. NA actually did though several times....
