You lost me at "We was" I'm not normally a grammar Nazi, but you clearly understand football as well as you understand the English language. We "was" clearly all over them for large parts of the game.

Yeah, not really being into all the name calling, this confused me the other day. I was looking at some other team's forum and they were talking about the scummers........I was wondering how Saints fit into the conversation, but we didn't. They were talking about some other jack-offs. That nickname is all over the place.

This is the official start of the season, period. I'm hopeful, but not confident. If we can come away with a point I'll be happy. If we come away with 3, I'll be looking for an extended run of good results.

I am very interested in the way his sports psychology degree is seeming to be effective. Something has certainly happened in the way the players are responding and reacting. He seems like a great bloke, and a fairly reasonable tactician, but excels at player management. As Phil said, I would not swap him for anyone. That bears some thinking about.....If you had the chance to replace him with any other manager, would you? At this particular time, and in this situation at the moment I think it would be crazy to even consider anyone else for his position. That says it all for me.
