We lost it in the first 30 minutes...bright start but then let Brighton dictate the pace and flow of the game. Trotman and Jaidi just had one of those games. They have been very good for most of the season so I am not going to write them off after one bad performance.
Morgan wasn't good, gave the ball away too much and was caught out of position too often. Lallana had an ok game, as did Connelly and Antonio, although I would have liked to have seen him switch to the left occasionally and test the other fullback.
It was obvious early on that Lambert wasn't fit/well...I believe he has had an illness and Pards didn't want him on too long, obviously due to the fact we needed a goal he was kept on.
I honestly believe this was a blip. We played some good football at times, the better side won it because they took their chances - We had enough chances to equalise and probably win it. The BHA Goalkeeper was excellent, despite his time wasting, but we would have done the same...
I know it is disappointing guys but we have got another big game next weekend and then a run of 3 or 4 games against weak opposition. Don't underestimate the impact Poyet had on BHA, they looked organised and played some nice football, all their goals were very good and as I said before it was one of those games.
