Rather have Lloyd James there if he's fit. Problem is he looked very rusty against Swindon, I don't think he's anywhere near full fitness otherwise he would have played against MK Dons. If fit Connolly is a far better option than Barnard, I would think Barnard will start and get dragged off after an hour or so. The right side might cause a bit of a problem with Puncheon being so influencial over recent weeks but I'm sure Waigo can come into the side, the big occassion might suit him. The rest of the team will be fine, Jaidi and Fonte is clearly are best centre back pairing and at right back Thomas has played plenty of football recently. I don't think there will be any changes and I think we will win.

Liverpool could do a lot worse than sign up Hodgson if Rafa goes to Real or Juve. Will be cheap on wages, works well on a budget and loads of experience. I'm sure they will go for another pointless foreign appointment but they really should be looking at Hodgson.

I don't really watch any serie a football but I listen to loads of podscasts and the general consensus is that Melo and Diego where both terrible signings. It's pretty strange because Diego looked brilliant every time I saw him play for Brazil and Bremen, then Melo was a target for Wenger and he doesn't get it wrong very often.
