I think there would be a lot of busy parks in Southampton if they tried to stop all drinking before the game!
-
I hope those four along with the coaching stuff are really banging onto the youngsters about what this games all about and what to expect from a derby game. Going to be a new experience for Lallana, James, Antonio, Mills and Schneiderlin etc
-
As do I. It's only really in this country where people seem to think 4-5-1 is a defensive formation because we have so many negative managers who use it in such a way. I know we played some decent football in our 4-4-2 on Tuesday but Saturday is a different kettle of fish - we need to control the game and get at them, having an extra man in midfield will give the full backs more scope to attacks as well as the wingers.

----------- Davis Thomas - Jaidi - Perry - Harding Waigo - Hammond - Morgan - Antonio ------------- Lallana ------------- Lambert Or ----------- Davis Thomas - Jaidi - Perry - Harding ------------ Wotton Waigo - Hammond - Morgan - Lallana ------------- Lambert Either way I don't think we should be going in 4-4-2.

Man United had 11 internationals and lost to Leeds at Old Trafford. All it takes is one or two moments and we will have won the game.
-
I think one of the youngsters is going to make a hero out of themselves on Saturday. James, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Antonio, Mills etc one of them is going to do something a bit special.
-
I hope so. Win, lose or draw I hope at least one of their players gets a bit of pain.

Thommo is a don. People moan about people not getting stuck in enough and drifting in and out of games then when someone like Thomas get involved a bit he gets a load of stick. The best part was when he came back on after the game had finished to have a go at a group of Mk Dons players.

50,000 Southampton would be amazing. I honestly think we would struggle to sell 40k,. -
It's a tuesday, can't see it being too popular. Certainly wasn't a mad scramble for Brentford and that was just as close.
-
They are open from 9 can't serve until 10.30 After the game everywhere has to close at 2.30 for an hour. I think Alfred is closing a little earlier
-
Was a typo meant 10.30
-
Yeah, acid rave.
-
Unfortunately I can't really say, sorry.
-
Yes I don't think it will be possible either. We will all still be celebrating at 2.30! Luckily I think I've got somewhere sorted.

Be awesome if those of us that went to both got two tickets and then another two for being Season tickets holders. -
Spoke to the bloke who run's the varsity last night and apparently all the pubs in city centre can open when they want but aren't allowed to serve beer until 10.30 then they have to all close their doors at 2.30 for an hour or so. Going to probably drink at the bright water in Shirley with all the pikeys at 9 and get a taxi into town just after 10.

I was in Itchen north for a change, usually I'm in Block 41. From where I was stood it looked like the Northam was rocking. I was sat in HH and apart from the few rows behind me and two infront the majority of Itchen North was sat down.

No, it's actually quite funny. I'm sure he's thick skinned enough to accept that he looks like a wotsit.
-
You're ginger aren't you?
-
How can you not see the difference between the two? Retard.
-
You must be the life and soul of every party.

14,000 STH x 1.5 = 21,000 - 28,000 - 14,000 = 14,000 21,000 + 14,000 = 35,000 - That's probably what our allocation will be, can't see many tickets going on general sale tbh.

Ok Alan....Now pick the same starting line-up for all remaining games

Barnard hasn't looked like scoring for us at all and he's had some easy chances. Waigo gives us an extra edge we lack with a Barnard / Lambert partnership. I thought he was our second best player behind Lallana. Worked his nuts off and looked dangerous all game.
