From where I sit, which is pretty much the half way line in the Itchen, he looks great going forward and has decent speed. His defending will improve the longer he plays with the team but for some reason Koeman either leaves him out every now and then or subs him. Seems like tactical substitutions when we don't want a full back flying forward but he's good enough for me to have had him in my fantasy team all season.

Strange. I'd never be happy for anyone to score against us. I loved Ricky when he played for us but he doesn't now and to be happy to concede a goal is just weird. I wish Ricky the best of luck at West Brom but against us I hope he has an absolute nightmare and looks like a Sunday league player.

It's probably offering him more money and with a promise that if a top 4 team comes in for him he can leave and with the long contract we'll get to keep him a bit longer and get a shedload when he goes. Agent won't be happy as he doesn't get his slice of the pie just yet but will do eventually so everyone should be happy.

Totally deluded, they did the same with Morgan though and managed to upset him. I have no problem with trying to get a player a bit cheaper as you have to haggle upwards but to come in with 50% of the player's value is ridiculous.
