Fair enough but I would prefer the players to have 6 extra days full training, bonding, learning tactics etc than using it to travel, given our preseason is only 3 weeks or so. You most likely lose a morning at best, and then would only be able to do light training for a couple of hours late afternoon. Not to mention first team players being split up and sent around the world in some instances. Seems a bit crap but I supposed we have Chinese commitments now.

Preseason all about fitness and fine tuning things although not sure whisking around to Austria, Ireland, China & Holland does us any good. Just pick one and stick there for a few weeks or games. Last season when we got dicked at Derby in a friendly and we knew it would be a long season. This pre-season feels different and a more positive vibe around the place. Certainly feels a lot nice winning the pre-season games than not, is there only one more to go? Season doesn't feel too far away now!
