Sunderland losing at home to a team lower than them, Villa blown a two goal lead versus a team two leagues lower than them. If either of them was us this place would be suicidal. Losing away to Leeds with a second string was to be expected to be honest. We got battered there last season with a much stronger team.

Well its Boruc in goal for the rest of the season then. Good move all round. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

Same ME as last version then?

Might be wrong but always thought he was a defender who relied on his pace...him and O'Shea always seemed to be the weakest links of the Utd defence in his time there. Think he is too old now anyway.
-
We should play a strong team, would be nice to get a convincing win and give the players a bit of confidence for the weekend. Can't imagine fielding a weaker team, and possibly losing would do us any good. Leeds will be Leeds and expect a hard, physical game.

We used to do creative free kicks in the first season under NA IIRC. Now we just seem to aim at RL all the time, or shoot and miss.
-
Wish we had Clattenburg as ref...would of been a few yellows at the Spurs players at least The one comical one was Walker just diving under a bit of Lallana pressure...no contact when he fell.

Have to disagree on that, Gervinho's goal the other week and the one against Blackpool near end of last season sums up Davis coming out ability for me (two that immediately spring to mind). Borucs great save in the first 5mins Davis would still be on the line.
-
Fox annoyed me with crossing from deep most of the time, which is bread and butter at this level for centre backs.
-
as posted on another thread I feel that him rushing off his line caused him to rush his shot, much better than Davis for example who normally doesnt come off his line only to be beaten at his near post. The 2nd goals apparently comedy act was all due to Fonte slipping at the wrong time.

Probably will be - always a stream somewhere...

Keeper error apparently according to some

You could say that him rushing off his line caused him to rush his shot, much better than Davis for example who normally doesnt come off his line only to be beaten at his near post. The 2nd goals apparently comedy act was all due to Fonte slipping at the wrong time. Lennon showed us what a nice bit of pace can cause, something Mayuka can offer us I hope.
-
the formation that played the last 30mins suits us much better. Liked Mayuka on the right, had the pace to trouble the full back. AL was much better also in the middle rather than stuck on the left, he just hasn't got the pace to play on the wing. Haven't seen enough of Ramirez to see if he can play out there.

Few errors (remembering its his first season in the top flight and still pretty young) but all in all I like his attitude and work rate, also the fact he loves a good challenge. Got done last night as Bale just got the run on him, but it was highlighted last season when Lambert used this to our advantage so definately the part of his game he needs to work on. Could do with finding a left back version of him!

has a Saints youth product ever played for Real Madrid? Because thats where he'll be next season (unless Man Citeh offer him way to much!), too good for Spurs. You can see why they didn't win their two games without him.

How? Not many keepers would of saved that.

Don't think he done anything wrong during the game, made a great save right at the start. Silly lad if he did throw a bottle into the crowd though. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

Defensively much better. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

could of got rid of the commentary for their goals and just played the Benny Hill theme tune in the background...
-
Saints would have the top 5 slots taken....even last time we were top league some of the goals were shockers.

Just glad this comes out 2 days after my last exam...
