You'd have to be a fool to blame last years results on fotune and curses. We we'ren't unfortunate not to win. We were disorganised in defence and toothless in attack. No matter how nicely you pass the ball around the middle of the park, you are never going to win games like that. I never walked away from a game last season thinking we were robbed. I know you aren't blaming an actual gypsy curse for our home form, but at the same time it wasn't luck either. It was quite simply young, unprepared and poor quality players bottling it in front of an increasingly frustrated home crowd. I wouldn't be so bold as to say Pearson would have kept us up, but he made a decent fist of doing a job with no money in his time here. We'd at least have put up a stronger fight with him in charge.

I'm not trying to take the p*ss, but maybe they could come back with the old Bennetton name. I miss the old teams like Minardi, Tyrell, Stewart, Jordan and Arrows.

When I do the Bristol - Southampton route I always take the M4/A34. Just be aware there are roadworks on the M4 with single lane traffic and 50mph + cameras. I tend to avoid at rush hour, but I'd image it's a nightmare.

In terms of fan base, I'd have to say Toyota is probably one of the worst too. Maybe at the Japanese GP they get a few fans, but when I was at Spa, I think I saw 3 Toyota fans all weekend, and they didn't even have a stall in the merchandise village.

I'm sure Derek will open with, "I'm getting an M or an N... maybe a Mick or a Nick or a Mike..." Then some gullible bint will stand up and go, "OMFG Michael Jackson, he's talking to Michael Jackson". TBF, this is the absolute dream ticket for a "medium". You know weeks before the seance who you're going to be "talking" to and you can find his whole life on Wikipedia.

Well, so long to a MASSIVE waste of money. I don't think any team history has ever spent that much money over that period of time, yet still never looked like winning. Hopefully Sauber grab their old spot, or they get bought out. Sauber do need some decent backing though. Anybody know any rich Swiss business men? Also hope Kobayashi gets a drive. Brawn would be great, but sadly I don't think he'd German enough.

Ponty, can you send a letter to the powers that be asking for a return to the 2005 spec. That season was just epic (I'm sure you wont argue too much). The cars looked good too. I think the MP4-20 is one of the best looking cars ever. Driven by Kimi and Montoya, it was always exciting to watch. Just a shame it wasn't more reliable. Then there was also Ferrari and Toyota keeping the front two honnest (I always forget Toyota for some reason, but they got 88 points) and Williams, BAR and Red Bull there or there abouts. If we're going to judge people based on those games then Lambert is also terrible. By and large, I think Thomas has been a pretty good centre half. The problem is he has never had a partner for more than 3 games. In his first season here we played 18 players* in defence. This season he hasn't had all that many games, but in those he has played he was partnered by the ageing Perry and the appaling Lancashire. Thomas, Perry, Powell, Lucketti, Dailly, Davies, Ifil, Wright, Viafara, Vignal, Euell, Skacel, Surman, Ostlund, Makin, Bennett... trying to remember the others. Lundekvam and Mettomo, but they didn't play.

Seen a few people putting pictures of themselves on Facebook, lying down in random locations. Does anyone else do this? Seems like a slightly odd past time to me.
