It seems some people don't care who plays for Saints as long as everyone thinks they're sh*t. As soon as a few people think he is good or he doesn't reproduce the form he showed at another club (name a midfielder who has scored 17 goals in the CCC, ever) he must go! We could sign Andriy Shevchenko, and people on here would say we shouldn't play him because he's overrated, overpaid and isn't as good as he was 3 years ago. 1. That's stupid and you know it. Nobody likes a player just because he waves his arms to gee up the crowd. Infact he hasn't been a crowd favourite for a couple of years now. 2. There isn't a player in this squad who wouldn't leave given a decent offer. Infact there hasn't been a player since MLT who stuck around when a "big" club came calling. Walcott, Bale, Jones, Baird, Beattie, Bridge, SKP. Even Safri p*ssed of to somewhere in Qatar and Best thought he was better off at Coventry. You can't blame Skacel for going to Hertha last season, especially when he got more than a healthy shove from the board. He was f**ked around at the start of this season by Lowe trying to get rid of anyone who had gone through puberty, but instead of sulking got his head down and got back in the side. Strangely people criticise him for this, yet overlook the same thing happening to Euell and Stern John. ANYONE who gets a decent offer from another club in summer will be off. Watch this space.

Can we please at least make things fairly interesting and change things around a bit. It's maddening knowing he's going to put out the same sh*te again in midfield. Here's what's really going to happen. Wotte sticks with pretty much the same team that lost to Wolves, except he will maybe drop Saga and put Euell in. He will remain blissfully unaware of how ineffective the midfield is as Davis spends 90 minutes hoofing it up to 5'8" BWP and expecting him to out-jump some brick sh*thouse centre half. We lose and everyone is on here moaning about how it's the strikers fault for not scoring, the defenders fault we conceded 3 and Skacel's fault for waving at the fans. Rant over.

1. He has started 1 game in midfield since we beat Wolves 6-0. It was against Norwich last year and was voted MOTM on TSF by something of a landslide. (You'll have to take my word on that). Kind of hard to be good at your job if you don't have a job. 2. He scored 4 goals. Also got 7 assists. That's more than Wotton, Lallana, BWP, Schneiderlin and Smith put together this season. Call me biased or whatever, but maybe, just maybe, it could be worth a try. Or f**k it, we could just stick with the midfield which is blatently hopeless and get relegated with another half dosen pathetic displays like the one on Friday.

Two things Mikey. 1. What's Davies done to deserve being released so soon? 2. Don't you think that forward pairing will be absolutely hopeless when it comes to physical battles, work rate, aerial ability and ultimately, scoring?

Not ignorant and not a believer. Just open minded to the fact that there are many things which we still can't expalin. By your logic, nothing we can't explain, with our current knowledge of the universe, can possibly exist. There many well be a perfectly plausible, scientific explanation behind 'ghosts' but we just don't know the science behind it yet.

The idea that mankind knows everything about everything is just laughable IMO. Imagine trying to explain an ipod to someone 200 years ago. a little metal box which plays moving pictures and music? Don't be ridiculous.

Nope. Just saying you cannot say for definite there are no such things as ghosts, as nobody knows anything about them. Sure 90% of stories can be explained by light reflecting on dust, bugs on camera lense, hallucinations from radon gas etc. but there are some which just can't be explained.

I would say most people on here are about as educated on the world of the so-called 'paranormal' as Anglo-Saxon peasants were on the layout of the universe.

I would want to keep KD, Perry, Size, James, Skacel, Bart, Saganowski, Rasiak, Surman, Lallana, Gillett, Thomas, Paterson and Mills from the current first team squad. The emphasis is on want, as I can see Rasiak, Saga and Skacel all leaving. Surman and Lallana may be awful at the moment, but are far too young to write off just yet. Goodbye to: BWP - I'd have him in the team now, but let's be honnest. He's overpaid and sh*te. John - Out of contract, well past it. Euell - As above. Molyneux - Crap Gasmi - Do I really have to explain Pulis - As above Wotton - Useless old clogger Indifferent DMG - I guess he might score more in League 1, but as been pretty poor in CCC. Morgan - He is young, but f**kin' 'ell he's terrible. If he hadn't cost £1.2m, he'd be out the door with Gasmi and Pulis. Smith - Maybe another 1 year contract to see if he can gain some consistency. Holmes - Really haven't seen much to warrant keeping him due to injury, but I'd give him a chance. Forecast - Really don't see the point in him. Lipstick - meh

Really don't think it makes any difference unless we get some creativity in midfield. Surman seems to have done his usual 2nd half of the season Sunday League style drop in performance. Lallana has done nothing since September. Smith blows hot and freezing. Wotton is an old carthorse and Schneiderlin is the biggest waste of money since Jelle Van Damme.

Under Pearson there was a marked improvement in the determination, fitness and confidence of the players which ultimately led to an improvement in results. Wotte has IMO got a worse squad to utilise, however he has done worse with it. There were 3 good results a few weeks back, but other than that he has shown no improvement what-so-ever over Portaloo. In short, I think Pearson did the best he possibly could under the circumstances, whereas Wotte hasn't. Anyway, this has been done to death, and we just end up going round in circles.
