I was in the pub the other night when this big Jamaican guy walks in with his d!ck in a bowl of custard. I said "Mate, i'm f*cking disgusted!" He replied "No man, i'm f*cking dis'custard"

Anyone know if Adkins had any particular favourites at Scunny who may be tempted to follow him here? Didn't Mackail-Smith play for him there at one point? He would be a good signing up front.
-
Alternatively park at the Airport and get the bus to the ground from there?
-
I think we need to get rid of Connolly in the window tbh. He's never fit and when he plays he hardly sets the world alight. Lambert and Barnard are a quality strikeforce, and we have Guly who can also play up front too. We have to see who's available in January really, although we do still have weak areas in the squad that need to be filled (CM and ST being the priorities).

There's a council-run one by the Northam Estate which is pretty decent, although there is a lot of traffic there after the games. Pop into the Joshua Tree for a (non-alcoholic) beverage after the game and wait for it to die down a bit.

Roy is too British for them. They need a manager with a bit of flair and they also need to spend some serious $ in the January window. They're lacking quality without Mascherano and Xavi Alonso.
-
Agreed. It won't bring Real success to buy all of the world's best players though, they need a team, not a collection.

If Ronaldo is worth £80m, Rooney is worth more than £35m.

Huddersfield are a very good side, wasn't expecting a win today tbh. Need to win resoundingly next Saturday vs Oldham though.
-
Well, that didn't really work out.

11 minutes!? That's the longest i've ever heard added on for stoppage time...anyone know of any longer in a Saints match?

!YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! .....I found my keys!

Udders are a good team - this is to be expected. We will come good, don't you worry folks.

In my eyes Mr X, you're no different to any other Saints fan out there. Some of us are builders, some of us are teachers, some of us are astrophysicists, but we all have at least one thing in common and that is that we all love SFC.

I'm so confident about this i've put money on it: Huddersfield leading at HT Draw at FT 1-1 final score

Rooney needs a change of scene imo, a move to Madrid could be good for him. £50m plus Benzema and a buy-back price of £30m would be a good deal for United imo.

I was thinking about putting a few quid on something - although I can't really say that I follow the market so don't really know what I could invest in. Any solid first-time investor options folks?
-
Agree. Guly was excellent last week so it would be unfair to drop him. Barnard on for the last 20 minutes or so.

----------------------DAVIS--------------------- BUTTERFIELD----FONTE----SEABORNE----HARDING PUNCHEON----MORGAN-----HAMMOND----LALLANA --------------LAMBERT-----GULY---------------- Subs: Bart, Martin, Richardson, Dickson, Chaplow, Barnard, Chamberlain Only one change from last week, Morgan back in for Chaplow. That team ought to win tbh, although i'm expecting it to be a tough game since it's away and they won 3-0 at the weekend. 1-1 methinks.

Oh, and Boro have more than enough quality to succeed in the Champ, their team just needs to gel. They've made a lot of new signings, including some quality players like Boyd, Robson and Thomson, and they will need a bit of time. Boro would be stupid to sack him now imo, especially after the investment that they've made in transfers. It will definitely pay off eventually. It's almost the same situation we were in last year.

I was speaking to some Celtic fans on the train back from Scotland a month or so ago, and they both agreed that WGS was a great manager for them, they really loved him. They hated Mowbray.

Absolute legend, not only for us but for English football as a whole. Happy Birthday Matty!
