What does everyone think about the candidates so far then? 3 weeks in, had enough time to get a rough idea of what everyone's about in the show. Alex - Can't quite make up my mind about him. He's either brilliant or utterly useless. Don't think he'll last beyond show 7 or 8. Chris - PM last night, seemed to do quite well. As much as he comes across as a complete tw*t, reckon he could go quite far. Christopher - Not had much opportunity in the spotlight so far, but did pretty well last night and seems to know what he's doing unlike some. Jamie - Reckon he'll be in the final. Seems to have a head for business. Calm, collected and intelligent. Joanna - Can't stand her. Gobby little sh!te. Hope she doesn't stay long. That book stand idea from show 2 was f*cking useless. Laura - Seems to do a lot of whining and not much else. Don't expect she'll be around for very long. Liz - Also think she'll go quite far in this. Seems intelligent and good at pitching. Plus, SAS loves a tasty bit of arse, so she'll be around for a while yet. Paloma - Thought she came across quite well in the first week, but she actually seems quite disruptive. Don't think she'll stay long. Sandeesh - Ugh. Stella - Reckon she might go pretty far as well in this. Good leader, seems intelligent enough. Stuart - Think he'll go next week, seems to have an over-inflated opinion of himself. He'll be PM next week and fail miserably.

I'm dreaming! I'm not in this seriously, just a quid on a long shot each weekend. You never know, one day it might pay off.

Lol @ the article, Shrews' board must be really p!ssed off.. FWIW, I think £15 is a decent price. They could easily have charged the full £25, but remember that the club is trying to live within its means now. We need the revenue as well, charging £10 would cut down on our matchday profit.

Scratching may be viewed as unpleasant to some, but I think scratching is an art form. It requires technique and vision as much as, say, painting does. In my opinion of course. In my view, art is something that requires skill. If you listen to it, or look at it, or read it, or whatever, and you think "wow, that person obviously has skill" then it is art. I'm not sure that a DJ set is something that is meant to be dwelled upon in the same way that a landmark piece of work in painting or writing is, but for me it is undeniably an art form.

Mix Master Mike (DJ with the Beastie Boys) is playing Orange Rooms on Sunday 14th November. Highly recommend going to see him - he's one of the best DJs around.

DeMerit would walk into our side, lol @ the people saying they wouldn't take him. Will probably go to a decent European club - as adriansfc says above, he's been looking at moving to Germany. A free agent we should be looking at though is Febian Brandy. Guly, Barnard, Lambert and Brandy up front would be more than sufficient.

Most of the places in Soton in my experience are very studenty, loads of us lot around in town so it'll be hard to avoid. If you don't mind students however, Oceana is a pretty decent club (specifically the Icebar upstairs). Depends what you're looking for really - i'm sure you, your navy buddies and 75 rooms at the Premier Inn would be entertaining enough wouldn't it?

I think we need all the PA magic for your mic at the moment, could barely hear you the other day such was the ferocity of our rawk. DI box could work though, bring it along! None of this is helping you to buy a new guitar though.

It'll be ok when we eventually put everything through a PA, even things out a bit.
