  1. Jeremie Aliadiere has just been released by Middlesbrough, maybe HCDAJFU? Wages might be an issue, but i'm still an admirer of his footballing talents, and wanted us to sign him when he left Arsenal. Also, what about... Febian Brandy (loan) Craig Mackail-Smith Jermaine Easter Darius Vassell Eddie Johnson (loan/buy) I realise that Vassell and Johnson may be slightly unrealistic, Vassell especially, but they could both be class, as would any of these players. They're all the pacy, Jermaine Beckford type strikers that I think we're lacking at this club, and although David Connolly is a fox-in-the-box, he's not got the pace he once had.
  2. Torrent of the PC version. Not the same as playing it on a console, but it's better than nothing. I suppose technically you could torrent a PlayStation version and then transfer it onto a memory stick, but there would probably be issues with viruses etc. Worth a try though eh?
  3. I torrented it earlier for free Forgot how much fun it was! Had to prise myself away from it though, otherwise i'll spend the entirety of 2010 playing and replaying it..
  4. Are you Bradley off Eastenders?
  5. I watch the A-League highlights on Sky Sports from time to time, and the overall quality of the players isn't that great tbh. Having said that, it doesn't mean that there aren't any good players in the leagues! Jason Culina is quality, and from what i've seen of Tommy Oar (from one YouTube video, which is the same philosophy that brought such quality as Lee Molyneux to SMS) he looks good too. No reason why we couldn't poach a few players on loan with an option to buy in January, which would technically make the loan deal ratifiable (if i'm correct?).
  6. Just highlighted the current International team members for you there. Not even sure that Man Utd fans could name a decade's worst XI with three full internationals in it..
  7. Naked tramps... In all seriousness, give the guy a break. Honestly, he's a member of the royal family and not that far away from being King. D'you reckon they'd let him sleep rough without anyone to keep an eye out? Some of you are letting your own prejudices get in the way of the real story, which is that he gave up a night to spend it sleeping rough on the streets to highlight the problems that the homeless are facing. All you liberals can do is then bash the poor guy for it. Absolutely ridiculous. Merry f*cking christmas.
  8. He looks good, and at 18 he's got a lot of time to improve his game. Sign him up AP!
  9. Exeter is on Saturday 26th December, Colchester is on Monday 28th December. But I do agree with you, we should play a strong team, but making the same team play two important matches within 48 hours of each other and expect to win both of them is absurd, especially in the middle of bloody December. Our team has been playing week in/week out since August now, players will be tired and need resting, especially the likes of DC, who's just come back from 18 months injured.
  10. Colchester is potentially a huge game, but we can't underestimate Exeter too. This game will be a slog, with the cold weather and rough'n'tuff attitude of Exeter. We should keep key players like Lambert, Hammond etc in the team but maybe rest others such as Waigo and Harding. In my opinion we should line up like: ------------Bart------------- Thomas--Jaidi--Trotman--Mills ------Morgan---Hammond---- Antonio----------------Holmes -----Lambert---Patterson----- Subs: Davis, Perry, Wotton, Mellis, Saga That team is more than capable of getting 3 points, and we'd still have players like James, Connolly, Lallana and Harding 100% fit, who are all potentially match winners on the day. We should place the emphasis on the Colchester game, but I think we should also regard the Exeter game as important, as any points dropped could be potentially disastrous for our play-off hopes.
  11. Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus Yes, that really is the title of the movie. And it was bloody brilliant! The plot of the movie centers around the thawing of two prehistoric giant sea monsters, who wreak havoc on anything they come across. Yes, it sounds corny, and it really is, but this was made by the Sci-Fi channel, so what do you expect? It's cheesy, the dialogue is awful, the acting is even worse, and the CGI is....well, laughable! But the whole movie is so much fun, and it's even more fun if you watch it with a couple of mates and a couple of brewski's. I got it on the 4 for £20 offer currently on in HMV as well, and it's worth more than a fiver in laughs alone! 2/10 (for a serious film) 8/10 (for a comedy)
  12. Hate to do this to you bro, but it was. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1208128/
  13. [geek] I admit, Midnight was a very good episode as well, but I never really liked Turn Left. Although the storyline itself was well written, I didn't really like the execution of it. I suppose that's mainly the director's fault though, and not RTD's. But these good episodes are drowned out by episode upon episode of 'oh look, it's a dalek' or 'oh look, it's a cyberman'. These monsters are supposed to be scary, but they just aren't. The psychological aspects of Blink and others like The Doctor Dances and The Empty Child were quite scary and frightening, and that's what the show should be aiming for nowadays. With a nation of desensitised kids, it's gonna take a skillfull writer to scare them once again, but I think Moffat is more than talented to do that. I hear Steven Spielberg is actually after him to write a few scripts for him, but he wants to concentrate on Dr Who. Who would turn down Hollywood for Cardiff!? [/geek]
  14. I'm 18, and I love it. The show is only going to get better now that they've got shot of Russell T Davies, who just wrote his episodes around regurgitating old monsters. Steven Moffat is now writing the new episodes, and i'm looking forward to them. 'Blink' was genuinely one of the scariest things i've seen prior to the watershed on TV before, and this is supposed to be a kids show!
  15. Jeg kan ikke tale dansk, men jeg kan bruge en online-oversættelse værktøj til at gøre det se ud som jeg kan. Så Glædelig jul hver krop!
  16. Because it's Christmas, I just wanted to get some opinions on this. If you were sentenced to death, with no chance of appeal, and they (whoever they might be) gave you the choice of your manner of death, what would you choose?
  17. Sorry, i've just got a feeling that he'll pop his clogs about this time next year. Probably zombie related too..
  18. Is that it? Not very good quality but might do the job.
  19. I was once next to Franny Benali in a traffic jam. True story.
  20. Michael Winner George Romero
  21. Spare a thought for my poor Dad, who is suffering from a dose of man flu, and is driving home from Hammersmith to Hook tonight. Might take him a while...
  22. Poor guy..this is what you get yourself into when you start a thread on here!
  23. I'm a big fan of Febian Brandy at Man Utd, he's really pacy and is great on the ball. Helped Swansea get promoted from L1 a few seasons ago so knows the league (albeit not as well as Beckford). Craig Mackail-Smith from Peterborough is also a player I admire, he was instrumental in 'Boro being promoted last season from L1, and he's bagged a fair few goals this season for them in the CCC. I also like Jermaine Easter from MK Dons, he's got something about him. And what about Darius Vassell? He's rotting away in the Turkish leagues nowadays, I know he's had problems with injuries over the last few seasons but I think on his day he was one of the best strikers in the Prem. Wages could be a bit of an issue, but it probably wouldn't take megabucks to prise him away from Ankaragucu where he's playing now. I know he only signed for them in July, but surely it's worth a shot anyway? If not, what about Eddie Johnson from Fulham? Hailed as a really bright prospect when he came over from America, he's not really made an impact in the Prem but he was good when he was on loan at Cardiff last season. Want me to name some more? I realise that Beckford is a very, very good player, but I think he'd be vastly over-priced and his attitude is something we could rather do without at the club. We've just settled down as a team, and we don't need anyone coming in that will disrupt it.
  24. Jemaine Beckford acting like a spoilt brat after being substituted...do we really want him here in January? There are better (and probably cheaper) options out there imo. Edit: Aww f*ck. 1-0
  25. Isn't Jermaine Jenas gay? I heard that somewhere. Sol Campbell as well reportedly, but he's just mental.
