I like the one where he talks about working in a church while his family dies. Surely those Bibles can be rearranged at another time and you can go and save your family like Bruce Willis does in Die Hard? There's a very questionable logic to Arcade Fire songs, but they're still the best band about at the moment.

Irish dad, Finnish mum, born and raised in Finland! Guess that makes him pretty Finnish...

I wouldn't say i'm ever really happy that a certain referee is in charge of one of our games, but there are some refs that fill me with a certain sense of doom. Marriner is one of those.
-
Oh no, f*cking Marriner.

If you were truly in love with her, you would know it's Régine, with the accent over the last e her name would sound like Re-zheen-ay

Care to pick one from the squad for the game!? Could put Townsend there but think Young would play well off Rickie up top.
-
Oh my god, I f*cking love that. Hopefully there's more like this on the new album, it's a sound they flirted with on The Suburbs but never really embraced. The fact that Bowie is on it just makes it 100x more epic!

Not a patch on this. [video=youtube;D7eBRQxbg-M]

Came off with a knock yesterday didn't he? They said he wasn't fully fit anyway. The key is in the wide play anyway, Ukraine are very solid in the middle but can be exposed down the flanks. In fact, I would put Baines at LB instead of Cole.

No, it shouldn't. So nyeh.

Heard we've had scouts watching Joel Pohjanpalo recently, 18 year old Finnish striker. Has a good goalscoring record considering most of his appearances for HJK have been off the bench and has broken into the national team of late. Obligatory YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibHRquIsXkg

Rather spend £32k on footbaths for religious people than £32k on posh wine for Downing Street.

I'd take Chris Baird for a year or two - good utility player. People talk about only signing players that will improve the squad, but if injuries hit you need versatile players like him.

Will be interesting to see how MoPo lines up for this one. The most important aspect of this game is to control the midfield and break their lines between midfield and attack. ---------------BORUC---------------- CLYNE----FONTE----LOVREN----SHAW -------------WANYAMA-------------- -----------CORK----MORGAN--------- ----OSVALDO-------------LALLANA--- --------------LAMBERT--------------- Subs: K.Davis, Chambers, Yoshida, S.Davis, JWP, Ramirez, Rodriguez Also a note to Poch - please don't bring Gaston on for this one. He is not suited to this type of match, as evidenced against West Brom.

Luke Paul Hoare Shaw...

I don't think McCarthy and Schneiderlin are too far apart in terms of quality. Morgan had a cracking season last year but McCarthy made Wigan tick for 3 or 4 seasons. Good little player, and for £12m I think Everton have done well - especially considering Fellaini cost them nearly £30m.

Surely MLG is our most famous fan? He's known globally for his posts on the Jonas Brothers forums.

Your favourite Saints players that weren't popular?

Same for me too - did his job and was played out of position a lot. Not a glamorous player, but was decent for us and didn't deserve half the flak he got. -
Not sure about Ajax tickets (looked into it myself when I went there but cba in the end), but there's a few sports bars in the city centre. We watched Saints play Liverpool at Anfield last year from Suzie's, which isn't far from Dam Square (IIRC, it's behind the big hotel there, the name of which I can't remember - long weekend!). They had six or seven live football matches playing in there, so you should be able to find Saints vs West Ham there. The upstairs bar/restaurant area has the most screens and is quite quiet. Hope that helps!

Just for some more info, we only moved into the place in July. I think the previous tenants had quite a high spend on Gas, as when I went to set up the direct debit they suggested we pay almost twice as much for gas as electric. I guess i'll find out what it actually is when the guy comes out on Friday, but thanks for the advice! I'll ask about getting a new meter as well, it does look ancient.
-
Hola b!tches Gave British Gas a meter reading for my Gas today and it was 0048. Is that abnormally low? They're sending a technician on Friday to double-check but they seemed very surprised that it was that low, probably thought we were fiddling it. We don't use the heating, have an electric shower and the only gas appliance in the flat is our oven (which probably gets used for about 5 hours a week, max).
