  1. But i'm not one of those people who enjoys laying around in the sunshine, whereas I do enjoy ham. On holiday I would be much more tempted to go for a quick swim in the sea and then sit in the shade for a bit eating a nice ham sandwich (think of the savings on expensive restaurant food). Ham wins each time, especially if it's ham hock.
  2. I got a text at about 2am last night, read it, decided to quickly check Twitter in case anything important had happened while i'd been asleep, saw that about Russell on RHLSTP and went "Yesss!". It was a great interview apparently, looking forward to hearing it on Thursday!
  3. PS: Something about Brett.
  4. I'm not a massive fan of his stand-up and some of his films, but I love him as a person. Very witty, engaging, funny in conversation and bright. I like listening to the podcasts of his ill-fated Radio shows from a few years ago, very funny stuff.
  5. Rockstone, definitely.
  6. Tbf since then he has scored a lot of goals, won several domestic honours and played in the Champions League. You might not rate Scottish football, but that doesn't mean that the outstanding performers in that league are any worse as players. Put Messi in the Albanian Third Division, does that make him a bad player?
  7. You need to watch this one in order to truly gauge how good He-Man is as a singer.
  8. Haha that's ok, I wasn't after any. Ghost Chilli Vodka sounds...painful. Good luck with that
  9. Jesus Christ - are you selling them on or something Swanny!? What market stall is that for? I'm getting very excited now, been looking through forums and the photos of the site on the website. Can't believe the last one was 2 years ago - how have we survived!?
  10. Might include a couple of free transfers/loans in that number though Dig Dig. Maybe we're building a squad big enough for European football this time next year? Also FWIW I think Miroslav Stoch would be a fantastic signing for us. Him and his fellow countryman Vladimir Weiss were incredibly unlucky to be overlooked by Chelsea and Man City for the first team, both good players now.
  11. Unfortunately not, although Mr Cortese is often in on a Sunday for a copy of Viz and an Egg and Cress sandwich.
  12. Not saying I 100% believe it either, just reporting what i've heard!
  13. Heard that the Banega deal is nearly wrapped up and should be announced within a week. Not 100% on the source though (no, he's not off Twitter).
  14. With Dejan alongside him, Maya won't need to be as nasty as people think he should be. His strengths lie more with his reading of the game as opposed to his physicality. How many brilliant interceptions and blocks have we seen Maya make this season? With Dejan there to be the more aggressive of the two, Maya can concentrate much more on his covering role in the defence. FWIW I do still rate Jos, but with 5 CBs at the club now his age means that he should probably be the one to go. Great guy and very passionate but we have to progress.

  16. Well, he can definitely take a hit!
  17. Maybe we could work something out to the Danger Man theme tune? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JOXTWqzw2I&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  18. Maya and Dejan at the back next season
  19. I think Guly will run out his deal with us rather than move, he's got another year on his contract and then he'll have plenty of suitors after him from all over the globe. Why move his quite young family to Leicester for 18 months when he can choose somewhere he really likes (like Brazil or Italy for example) this time next year?
  20. Loving their away kit, I have to say. Looks like something out of Roy of the Rovers!
  21. Think Prowsey would gain much more from being involved with the first team compared to a loan spell. A full pre-season with the coaching staff and some game time will improve him. Agree that he does need to bulk up a bit and figure out his place in the midfield. Not sure if he's creative enough to be playing behind the striker, think he's better playing deeper.
  22. Personally I think Cresswell is a good player, not as good as Luke but definitely good enough to be back-up. Can play higher up the pitch as well IIRC. Worth a punt as long as he doesn't cost too much.
  23. This must be what purgatory is like.
  24. A million times yes! That's f*cking gorgeous.
  25. Looks too much like a Stoke kit to me. Still like it though.
