Just come through now that Roberto Martinez has resigned from Wigan. Will be interesting to see if he makes the move to Everton now or waits around for the Swansea job to open up when Laudrup is inevitably poached in the next 12 months. Think he could be very good for Everton - strikes a nice balance between organisation and free-flowing football. Made some decent signings at Wigan and Swansea too.

I'm not really getting worked up over Holloway's comments, I find it hilarious how precious he gets whenever he's on the receiving end of a bit of stick. Just trying to make the point that I think he's an utter bellend is all. Btw Holloway is not a character, he's a complete f*ckwit. To quote (verbatum) Sean Lock on the subject... "If anyone ever says to you: "you have to meet my mate, he's a real character", my advice would be don't get your hopes up. The extent of his "character" will be sticking his c*ck in your pint when you go to the toilet."

Bramble will go to Hull to be back with Steve Bruce. Good signing for all concerned. As for Stephen Hunt, don't think he's good enough for the Prem anymore. Championship player imo.

His job is to be professional and to manage a football team, not to get all worked up over a bit of banter between two sets of fans. To me he comes across as incredibly bitter and frankly unprofessional. I know part of his image is that whole "straight talking" thing, but I don't think you'd get too many other managers saying the same thing - not ones with a decent sense of humour and the ability to laugh at themselves anyway...

I'm sure he joined the army in the first place to protect the country and its people. I think part of that is making sure that people in the welfare system can afford to look after themselves and feed their families. Trying to justify welfare cuts on the back of a freak attack like this is odd to say the least. And wasn't that 'snooper's charter' laughed out of parliament in the first place? All those who complain about there being a nanny culture in the UK trying to bring in laws like that...

We knocked them out in the cup whilst in League One, while at the same time he was struggling with Blackpool in the Prem. Lots of pressure and a really awful display by Blackpool led him to get all precious about a bit of banter between two sets of fans and have a go at us. Consequently, he's regarded by pretty much every Saints fan as a tool. Add in his supposed "footballing knowledge" and the fact that he's a bitter potato-faced wurzel and there you go. I'm looking forward to abusing him when Palace come to SMS.

I really dislike Holloway, but I think Watford will really struggle next season with the transfer sanctions so i'll go with Palace. Lots of good memories of the away game there last season.
