Wouldn't say they're liabilities - one of them is likely to improve with a run in the team (Gazzaniga). Kelvin is an adequate 3rd choice imo.

If Muniesa is out of contract at Barca we should be knocking on his door until he signs a contract with us. Maybe lacks a bit of physicality at the moment but he's a very intelligent defender. Will be a very good player in the future.

Because Swansea got Michu for £2m so naturally there are dozens of players like him available for nothing. I like the fact that we seem to look for young talented British players in the Football League, most clubs at this level tend to ignore them unless they're truly exceptional (Walcott, Bale and Chambo being 3 such examples).

Think Buckley would be a good signing for us, similar to Jay Rod and Clyne in that he's a very well regarded player in the Championship. 8 goals in 38 appearances this season, quite similar to what Punch and Lallana did at that level. Think he'll slot into our setup very well and will improve as a player under Poch - got the energy to be very effective on the wing for us. As long as we don't pay over the odds for him (somewhere between £3-5m I think is reasonable) he'd be a good acquisition for us.

Would jump at the chance to take Figueroa on a free. Very experienced and can play anywhere across the back 4 and in midfield. Seems like a good egg too, would be a good influence in the dressing room. Wilfried Bony's name has been touted around an awful lot this window but i'm starting to think that he'd be a very good signing for us. Comes from a league with an emphasis on attacking football, very physical and knows where the goal is. Wondering if he's maybe too similar to Jay Rod in terms of his style of play though.

Where's miltonroader when you need him?

Will do all the away games I missed last season (Chelsea, Stoke, Fulham, Liverpool, WBA) plus the promoted teams (Cardiff, Palace, Hull) and all the rest of the London clubs (West Ham, Arsenal, Spurs). Depending on how the fixtures fall as well I would be tempted to go back to Old Trafford and probably Goodison too. Cutting down on expenditure a little this season!
