Just a few things to clear up here. The club don't want to sell him, they want him to stay. If he does end up being sold, there is less chance of him being sold for a high price if he is 'damaged goods'. This is why the club were alarmed and surprised that Adam and his camp leaked to Blackmore and Ben Smith. I was passed some info after this. What anti Lallana PR are you talking about? The Brazil quote? The naked video? The angry Neighbour? All of that is nothing to do with the club, and everything to do with Adam. Just because a player you like is acting the tit, does not mean the gremlins are out to get him and you.

Fly Martel out to Rio ASAP IMHO

Running costs are lower, and i've never taken to electric ovens. Strange I Know. But I love induction hobs, hence the need for oven only.

Hello all! I'm looking a for a new, built in double gas oven (not freestanding). it must be a true double, as single plus grill won't really work for me. Price is less important than quality, so anything up to £700 is fine. If anybody has any good or bad experiences, please feel free to share. And if anyone has access to an oven expert or a subscription to Which?, that would be appreciated too.

Is Lambert still our player until July 1st? Seen this claim on a few threads now. Oh MLG, where art thou?
-
Jesus, forgot fat frank was on the field until that ****-poor touch, Gravity challenged Wilshere acting like a bell as usual. And as i type, Lampard loses it again. Still love Lambert, and thoroughly enjoyed his goal.

That was a hypothetical (but rather appropriate) suggestion from myself, not a source. My bad, should have made that clear. The information I had confirmed was it was Lallana (or his camp) who were leaking first to Adam Blackmore, and then Ben Smith complaining about our attitude in not just accepting the Liverpool offer. The other clarification was not behind any 'hatchet job' stories such as nudity/planning permission, as it is not the type of exposure to hold a market value (except a negative down-trend). One discussion my source and I had was the event in which Adam stays. How would he go about it? It would seem impossible the other players would accept him as captain again, he wouldn't have the good will of the crowd, and I know at least one local media figure (not Blackmore) who has been very supportive of him would not be so understanding in his coverage. If he does move, he can't expect any of niceties that Lambert received (that was a reward for being, patient, courteous and professional, the same words applied to Shaw for his handling of the current speculation, I am allowed to say that much). Even if he penned an open letter, hinting that he was pushed or it's not his fault, the fans would know it for a lie, and the board would not print it! As I've said before, it's truly bizarre that he was the one to break cover, as a widespread assumption was that the club was simply weak or making a false economy out of player sales. In my own opinion, I can only imagine he thought he would be given a days grace to complete his move to Liverpool, then fly out on his own. But that seems far fetched to say the least! On the good news front, I'm told the club are "ahead of schedule" in their manager search, and may even announce before the world cup opener on the 12th, if everything continues to run smooth. Otherwise, the appointment will be ideally announced in the "aftermath of a non-event game and the build up of an unattractive fixture" to ensure maximum coverage. And no, I haven't been told the names.

The strange thing I noticed on a number of other threads was the viewpoint were now trying to 'damage' Adam Lallana. The club have actually been very quiet on this subject. It was Adam who spoke to Blackmore, making it clear he wanted to go (unless those dropped phone calls were intended to be AL kissing the club badge over the phone), and then speaking indirectly to the BBC on Sunday underlining that he desired a move the second his obligations in regards to the world cup are over. Until then, a popular viewpoint had been that the board were trying to sell off the family silver, but getting taken advantage of as they bend over to pick up the shiniest spoon. Do people imagine that the club leaked naked pictures of the sun? Or prompted a neighbour to hate the basketball court he built? The club want a fair price for Lallana, the man they made captain and gave a bumper contract to. They don't think a man with a 'difficult' reputation will garner that price. If Lallana really wants a move, he should keep quiet. His agent or Liverpool could remind Bournemouth that 100% of 3 million pounds is worth more than 25% of £0. Plus he could give up his 'Loyalty' bonus. Adz. The new breed of player who requests a transfer, but won't put in a transfer request.

Ha ha, yes they do, and I'm usually asked to be discreet. This time it was more like a counter-leak, tbh! Hence my note at the start. Also, no info on the manager whatsoever! I'm as in the dark as everyone else on that. Last post, good night all.

One thing I forgot to mention was the Player/Board relations. There is a recognition that there has to be refocussing back towards the players. Not only was the Apple comment mid interview by RK described as 'Cringeworthy', but an incident towards the end of the season where players with contracts running out were guaranteed talks, the issue left to 'float' for a few days, then approached as part of a larger group to take part in a club media even, with no follow up or acknowledgement on the talks!

Hello all. Now a word of warning first. This is going to be a lengthy post, so those of little patience may want to skip it! Also, it is slightly more 'politicised' than a smiley, due to the source and the timing. Everyone has an agenda, after all. Think of this as more re-tweet than Op-Ed! With that caveat in mind, let us plough ahead. 1. Lallana. As you may see from my posting history, things I have been privy to from inside the club have meant I have never warmed to a certain badge kissing individual as much as others. His lack of care at his internal end of season review (including his statistical input input into matches) had alarm bells ringing, as did his apparent contrasting attitudes in discussing his future with those inside and outside the club. Some within the club are happy that the Blackmore tweet broke, as it showed that the Loyal local lad may not have Saints as his number one thought. It is also thought that a raise from any top 10, instead of top 4 club, would be enough to have him causing disruption once more. Whether or not he will hand in a transfer request, or Liverpool will Negotiate a lump sum settlement with Bournemouth remains to be seen. Intresting that his former boss does not rate him enough to bid for him (all alleged). Whatever happens, don't expect a 'goodtimes' highlights reel if he does leave. 2. Lambert. The Club had received a number of enquiries for Rickie, but he batted them away. The board was mindful that within a few days of meeting the players (December), Rickie had managed to insert Liverpool into most conversations, such was his passion for his home-town club. They were also grateful for his courteous, patient behaviour upon hearing of the offer, and there was genuine good feeling on both sides when goodbyes were made. Unlike some others. 3. Budget. The 35 Million is still in place. The board are hesitant to confirm the amount added to this now, as prices will be artificially inflated even without more sales. 4. Katharina Liebherr. Despite the prevailing view on here, she does care for the club, and our future. One thing my source was unclear on (because they couldn't get a handle on it yet) is whether she genuinely thinks RK and Reed are doing a sufficient job on a learning curve, or whether their is an imminent reshuffle. One thing is certain though, there has been an increase in 2 person meetings as opposed to group meetings. 5. Cortese. Though in the immediate aftermath and at the end of the season Cortsese was active in engaging the press, it is not thought that the whispered campaign against the club originates from him, but it does stem from his leaving as 6. The press. The club sought out untapped Journos to tell 'their side' as Cortese departed. But they underestimated how much access and coverage the media would demand in return, and as a result, conventional agreements were ignored, and many more interesting than 'helpful' stories have appeared. There may be an appointment soon to help restore balance. 7. The Manager. "Too Sensitive" I asked for a nationality or initials. "No". They want the business done before national management positions become vacant though Sorry I've had to censor the amount and quality of Info (I'm not allowed to discuss Shaw, for instance. At all).

Well done. A moronic post which not only misses the facets of why people are wishing Rickie Lambert well, but also the prevailing mood of the board, which is this move is not disastrous in itself if done in isolation. It's the other moves which people (the majority) see no justification for, and will be understandably angry if they go through. But why am I bothering to explain this? You've already demonstrated that you can't sense the room.

No need to write something so Low. This is a thread to expresss gratitude, not to vent bitterness. As I wrote on the 12th: That statement is as true today as it was then. I cannot help but admire the way that Rickie has turned around his career, to the mutual benefit of himself and saints. He now has a chance to return to his boyhood team, and be a hometown hero, someone that was not possible before his transformation into our talisman. And it's not like he's jumping ship for the first top four team that comes calling, and to hell with his previous promises *cough*'Adz'*cough* This is a man with one final chance in the Twilight of his career to realise a life long dream. How many men, in any walk of life, ever get that chance? What man but a fool would turn it down? No true Saints fan will wish Rickie anything but the best. Though I will miss watching him do the number 7 shirt proud! Good luck Rickie, and thanks for the memories (and JPT!)

I think this is more on the mark.

Is this another example of Ralph Krueger Newspeak? Mauricio Pochettino is our enemy, and has always been our enemy. Nigel Adkins, the only other manager in football, is now our ally. He has always been our ally. Any contradiction of the above, or propaganda about the fictional 'Hoddle', as peddled by the arch-traitor Dalek is heresy and thoughtcrime. We will be looking for a manager that shares our values, our principles and our philosophy; a manager who can continue to grow the First Team and build on our strong foundation – a foundation led by an ambitious vision and plan that continues to build on our world-class academy, our amazing 129-year heritage and our excellent staff, and rewards our loyal and passionate fan base. Adkins. And only Adkins. Oceania 'Tis for Thee P.S. Can someone text John Williams and tell him to check my lights are off and to put my bin out? Holibobs are draggggging on! But keeping myself busy by munching on a Kit-Kat.

Lovren gets his hair cut at Equinox. I know this for a FACT, because so do I! Whether he takes advantage of the complimentary drinks, is another matter entirely...

Make sure martel comes along. From what i read, anybody he talks to is almost constantly laughing and smiling! -
Cool story. If you had held his arm in a death grip until he signed a napkin in your blood promising not to leave, or wet yourself for attention you could have earned even more stalker points.

Thank you. He's a top, top, top talent.
