very emotional day today as this season was my mum's last. she went into a coma last August and thought she was dreaming when she came round and I told her we were top of the league. battled through to January but died during our bad run. not surprisingly the watch story has filling up. I don't really believe in an afterlife, but love the thought of Markus, my mum, Ted, Bally, Darren's mum etc. watching the game from a celestial Dell. back to the Moet!

I'm staying at the hotel on the edge of his housing estate Monday night - I'll go for a walk / stalk

Hey mate, My mum died in January and the evening of the funeral I watched us collapse against Leicester from her season ticket seat - not a great day (sat in it again last Friday night as well FFS). I know what you're going through fella, chin up. Funeral was the hardest part for me, then I threw myself into work, now thinking about it more and more again. Happy memories more than the memories of cancer now though - and supporting my old man who bless him is still at SMS every week. Good luck mate.

I win. Seen 4, won 1, lost 3. 1 of which (Leicester) was the day of my mum's funeral. then tonight. don't worry, I'm never f***ing going again......

We had 19 shots tonight, 12 on target. They had 6, 4 on target. I thought we dominated large parts of the game but Reading basically caught us on the break and through stupid mistakes by individuals. Need to win the next 3 I think. Come on Brighton & Birmingham.

Will be the only trip to Wembley I'll ever make with my mum as she died in January (I sat in her season ticket seat on the day of the funeral to watch Saints vs Leicester - not a great end to the night...). Not ashamed to admit I got a bit emotional today when I realised it was the final - the day itself was superb and much as I *far* prefer Adkins to Pardew, I credit Alan with doing exactly what he said he would do - returned a winning mentality to the club when it was sorely lacking after years of winning naff all.

My wife used to work in the same hospital as Abi Titmus. I've spanked a few out over "what could have been" I can tell you

What the hell does left-wing or right-wing mean in 2012?

The day I saw the "left" calling for tax cuts and the "right" increasing borrowing I never thought I'd see. I think the main issue is that we're now run by a "political class" that, like the pigs in 1984, want to keep their snouts in the trough at the top table and don't really believe in anything. I still don't like the fact that "liberal" is now an insult. As if caring for others and being able to see a balanced viewpoint is a bad thing. -
had a curry with Stewpot from Grange Hill in London after Arsenal won the double about 10 years ago. amusingly went into the Bailey pub at Highbury & Islington tube last year and he was still propping up the bar there. my Dad literally bumped into John Major at the Dell on boxing day when we beat Chelsea 3-1 and Frankie Bennet scored the 3rd. opened toilet door onto him

Anybody fancy a Ruby, the Spice Island at Stratford Station is superb. Agree about avoiding Upton station it's a nightmare after the game.

Agreed, it takes the **** out of left and right together as extremes of both ideals are utter ********. It's great

It's a thick vaneer on a plywood base. It therefore looks like real wood and you can sand it up to 3 (or 5) times, however it doesn't expand and contract as much as real wood - it's more stable basically. We're getting our hallway done this week from Cathedral Floors in Kingsworthy. It's not cheap to be honest but it looks like good stuff. I had the bevelled edge fake stuff in the old house and it was amazing - you need to make sure you mix up the packs though to ensure you don't repeat the print too often.

Oban - lovely light single malt but expensive (40 quid) Jura - my mum died earlier this month and a mate bought me a bottle to help get through it. Lovely lovely drop, a right touch if you will. In fact, her funeral was before the Leicester game and I sat in her seat - finished the bottle after that thanks to our shower of sh*te
