  1. Sorry but can't agree with this but understand where you're coming from. I was prepared to give STill some time until yesterday - but his absolutely insane substitutions (not for the first time) tipped me over the edge. He appears to be so defensive and timid, that must get through to the players: bringing on Stephens for Scienza was ludicrous. Likewise our best player early season (Robinson) gets dropped and given 5-10 minutes (at best) when we're in turmoil. Sesay (who impressed pre-season) plays a big role pre-season only to drop off the face of the earth. Dom Ballard (who scores goals for fun) not retained (even as a backup) and instead we are left with the donkey Downs. HIs defensive, scared, timid nature was in full evdence yesterday. Taking ARcher off and bringing Fraser on when you had 2 strikers (if you can count Downs as a striker) on the bench. Every time, his subs make us weaker and put us on the backfoot. Good leaders inspire - I honestly don;t see how Still can inspire based on his press conferences and interviews (and Adam Blackmore said something similar yesterday). We are not going to improve with Still at the helm - I would willingly take Adkins/Hassenhuttl until the end of the season to bring back a bit of the feel good factor to the club and to inject some positivity and inspiration.
  2. We are now well and truly in a relegation fight with a shit manager, awful owners and a terrible squad
  3. GET THIS FUCKING IDIOT STILL OUT OF OUR CLUB TONIGHT
  4. WILL STILL OUT! Takes our best player off and brings on Stephens. WHat an utter c**t we have for a manager. Where do SR find these clowns? What an utterly inept manager
  5. I am yearnng for Martin - he had a discernible style, and we played good football in the CHampionship in his season here. I hhve no idea what Still is doing: there seems no discernible style of play, he plays a cowards game with 5 at the back and we aimlessly hoof it up to a bunch of midgets. It's a truly horrible watch. Why not play Edwards as DM and push Azaz up to his actual position? We sure as hell don't need 5 at the back against Blackburn.
  6. I admire your positivity and do think you have a point. But this has been a horrible, horrible dispaly from Saints. Disjointed, hoofing long balls up to midgets and looking very dodgy at the back. Against a decent side we would be gettng hammered - someone summed it up by saying this is SUnday League style football from both teams.
  7. Good god, Azzaz is really terrible. Utter shite from him (not for the first time). Him and Archer are a complete waste of a shirt. 5 at the back - wtf? SO we have a midfield 1. Awful game and absoluetly nothing Saints are doing looks good. Still is under real pressure now
  8. I hope the young striker is on the bench. He may only be 18 but he knows where the goal is unlike most of our pathetic team
  9. What an utterly uninspiring manager Still is - and his tactics and subs are absolutely appalling COward of a manager playing 3 at the back at home against a mediocre side. Our push for promotion is almost over already. SImply not good enough and to be left with a strike force of Stewart, ARcher, DOwns and Armstrong is criminal
  10. Will Still is hopeless. WTF are those subs about?
  11. What utter tedious crap this is. So slow and ponderous and when there is the opportunity to break at speed there is normally only one player in the box with 4 or 5 defenders around them. 5 at the back at home against Swansea is a cowards approach. Utterly miserable time to be a Saints fan.
  12. OUr club is rotten to the core. Is anyone seriously saying Dom would be any worse than Archer or Downs? Our genius of a manager seems like a terrible judge of a player and Robinson is also being treated appallingly having been our most threatening player at the start of the season.
  13. I've seen enough of Still to believe he has not got a bloody clue. Random subs, no discernable tactics and a team that should be performing way, way better than they are. Another terrible decision by SR......Still looks completely lost and on a par with Pellegrino as the most clueless manager we've had
  14. And our absolute plum of a manager proceeds to take him off. Still is utterly clueless. Hoe do SR find such terrible managers?
  15. I honestly have no idea what Still is trying to do or achieve. Stewart goes off and we swtich Armstrong to the main striker (that we all know is not his position) and bring on a winger to put in crosses to a bunch of midgets. Why play 5 at the back - we look shite whether we play 4, 5, 6 or 10 at the back. Disappointing that Stewart has yet another injury as him and Armstrong were looking quite dangerous. Baffled why Robinson didn't even make the bench. I just think Still is in massively over his head.
  16. Agree with all the above. It's actually quite scandalous how he's been discarded by our utterly inept manager. To a lesser extent Sesay too....involved all pre-season and then never to be seen again.
  17. Not sure you can say this....he was still our top scorer in the Prem. WHat 'massive amount of CHampionship firepower' do we have? Surely you cannot be referring to Downs, Stewart or Archer? All as lightweight as they come with no heart.
  18. Based on Still's preferred style (wingers whipping crosses in allegedly) would we have been better to keep Tall Paul? Both Downs and Stewart are an utter, utter waste of space. At least with him we had a player who could act as a focal point (not saying he was great) and definitely an upgrade on both our 2 useless lumps we have. In our least CHampionship season we had Adams acting as a focal point and bringing Armstrong (and others) into play. NOw we have no-one.
  19. This guy is worse than Sugawara - he can't defend and he offers nothing going forward. What an awful club we are - and our latest manager looks miles out of his depth
  20. Probably our best player (certainly most threatening) this season and since the transfer window he's been jettisoned by Still. We are utter shite, somehow have employed another clueless manager and are devoid of any attacking threat. I feel for the kid and sums up the ineptitude at the club.
  21. That was awful. Very concerned with Still: his tactics, selctions and general management of the situation all look very suspect. Ross Stewart is a total waste of space and shouldn't be near a League 2 side. If I was to rate them: Baz - 6. Nothing much to do but very decisive Mads - 4. Offered nothing Manning -4. Offered nothing THB - 5. Stupid booking but not really tested Stephens - 6. Led the line without truly being challenged Downes - 3. Awful and hope he is now a bit part player. Always looking backwards rather than forwards and gves the ball away Charles - 6. Probably, wih Fraser, our best outfield player Fellowes - 5. Meh Azaz - 4. Awful Fraser - 6. Probably our most threatening Archer - 5. No service, no support but the ball didnt stick
  22. There's only one team playing today...and it's not Saints. This is absolutely terrible and I have been underwhelmed with Still so far this season. Hoofiing the ball forward every time we get it is not the Southampton way.
  23. What passing. This is like watching a Branfoot team but without brick house players. Not sure a single hoof forward has been won by a Saints player
  24. This is as embarrassing a performance a I have seen from Saints (and yes, that includes he 9-0s). THis is a performance without any saving graces (except Fraser and McCarthy). Will Still will start getting pelters in the near future if we persists with this shit style and line-up. Every time we've played this season with 5 at the back we've looked comical with no midfield. An absolute joke of a performance and awful, awful tactics.
  25. All of those permutations look horrific. Wasn't this all tried in pre-season and failed?
