Plus you have the usual suspects saying: QPR: we were lucky and they're shit (despite still being above us in the table Charlton will be a big test: only to turn round and say Charlton are shit and don;t count because they're rubbish Birmingham will be a big test: only to turn round and say Birmingham were shit and don't count And rinse and repeat for any team we face. Until we beat Real Madrid 7-0 on a regular basis I think many on here will say 'we'll against better teams' without realizing that the eay we've been playing has made other teams look very ordinary. Why not just enjoy the ride? Playing sumptuos football, scoring a ton of goals and suddenly winning most games after a long period of time winning almost none. These are exciting times to be a Saints fan - enjoy it while you can!

Live for the moment - you can't worry about what may or may not happen in the future

What complete and utter bollocks. Take a look at teh saves he made.
-
What an utter bunch of melts on here these days. We won and Bazunu made some excellent saves. I'm certain Tonda will learn from this but he is also trying to keep players fresh playng 3 games a week at the moment. Terrible, complacent second half and we have to be able to shut down the crosses coming in and standing off players. But 6 wins from 7 is dreamland from where we were.
-
Like who? Whose this mythical experienced manager who would have us winning every game and keeping clean sheets every game. Yes we were terrible second half: unfortunately(?) we go 3 0 u[ and take the foot off the gas completely and become almost complacent. However, being 3 0 up and winning and seeing 4 back to back wins at home and scoring for fun. I'd take that any day of the week unlike many of you miserable keywboard warriors.

From the moment he took the interim, it felt like he had something about him that was promising. Since then, he has only gotten better and better: with his attention to detail, planning and general demeanor. I think we have found an absolute diamond. In a few short weeks he has got people buzzing again: it was only 6 or 7 games ago people were talking about how we had won 2 home games in a year, now we have 3 back to back.
-
WHat an absolute bloody wally. No keeper is saving that Gray effort. Bazunu played very well today.
-
Weren't Birmingham terrible? If we'd played a decent side we'd have lost. Tonda doesn't know what he's doing and we should have a proper manager in place.
-
You truly are an utter cock and your blind haterd of certain players/members of staff is pathetic. He played well today - nothing he could do about any of the goals. As a team, Saints were not at the races today and it looked like a game too far for many of the players. Bragg was probably the best for Saints today with Bazunu not far behind.
-
Difficult first half there but still goalless. Nathan Wood has been really poor again. THB having a shocker and we just have not gotten going. Robinson looks threatening going forward but a bit lightweight and taking too many touches. Cam Bragg has been superb again. I really hope he gets another contract (up at the end of season) as he definitely looks like he has something about him. Manning and Fellows have not been good today (so far) and Azaz has been poor. Bazunu has been excellent as has Stephens.
-
Being rather sad, I looked up QPRs stats and they have acually used 27 players in the League this season. Certainly not 49! AI is such utter shite - particularly if you don;t fact check.
-
Only one problem with that. He's shown himself to be anything but an efficient finisher and contributes nothing to the team effort
-
Cor blimey, I had a real crush on her back in the day (same age as me). I just saw a recent picture of her. WTF has she done to her face? Looks like she'll melt if she goes near a fire/heat!

I'm pretty sure there's already a thread for this but I can't be arsed finding it. As the window opens in a month, here would be my wish list: OUTS Aribo Edozie Matsuki (loan as hes so far down the pecking order) Archer Sesay (loan) Downs (loan) INS Striker Realistically I'm not sure we need any more added to an already big squad and we should be saving the pennies for next summer depending on what division we'll be in. I know many would argue we need a GK but the club rates Bazunu and we may have Ramsdale back in the summer. At GK we have Bazunu and McCarthy At RWB/RB we have Mads, Jelert, Fellows At LWB/LB we have Manning and Wellington AT CB we have Quarshie, Stephens, THB, Wood. Edwards CM we have Charles, Downes, Bragg, Jander, Romeu (with Williams possibly in the mix) Attackers/wingers we have Armstrong, Azaz, Scienza, Robinson, Fraser That, on paper, is a really strong squad and should be a match for anyone. The only gap is an out and out striker.
-
Disappointed to see Aribo coming on. He's looked terrible when hes come on this season. We've taken our foot off the gas completely (just like Saturday). Understandable but it would be good to go after them as we owe them....
-
He's out injured. Doesn't really matter anyways as there is no place for him in the squad (I would say the same for Aribo who has looked lazy, unfit and disinterested evry time he has come on). Leo, Robinson, Fraser, Fellows, Armstrong (in that role) are all ahead of him now.

The same Charlton that had only lost 1 or 2 at home since last December? The same Charlton that had only conceded a handful all season? It was "only" < insert name here> - well we haven't been beating "its only" for the last 3-4 years. I know you are old and cynical but really? We played some beautiful stuff against both QPR and Sheff Wed in places (with Tonda not having time to really put in place his tactics) and today first half was sensational and everythig Saints have not been for years. Quick, incisive and players getting forward. Tonda clearly deserves to be made our permanent manager: it is clear he has something about him. And I love how he is not scared to bring in the younger players and seeing his reaction to Bragg when he was subbed was a thing of beauty.
-
Thought he was superb today. Always there to receive the ball, closing down CHarlton players and typically looking to get the ball forward. I would have him in the team ahead of Downes. Showed a lot of promise today and did enough to start against Leicester. Very strong CM options in Jander, Charles, Bragg and Downes and Williams also did well in his debut. I'm liking that Tonda is not afraid to put our Academy graduates in the line up

100% on the money Ron. Bunch of clueless, classless miserable twats who almost seemed to want us to lose to prove their (incorrect) point
-
What another fantastic goal. This is dreamland. Where has this team been? Tonda's job for sure - and well deserved. Love it!
-
What an asbsolutely fucking amazing goal....pass it at the back, nerves aplenty but what an utterly brilliant team goal!
-
Tonda Eckert's red and white army......
-
Take that you miserable twats on here. Moan, moan, moan.... This is the best we have played for a very, very long time.
-
No doubt, their agents got in their ears.....
-
WHat is wrong with you lot on here? Bar 10-15 minutes that was as comfortable as it gets and Saints played some wonderful, fluid attacking football and then managed the game well once we went 3-1 up. We have 6 points from 2 games (for the first time in 19 months) and I admire Eckert for bringing Williams on at half time. The easy thing to have done would have been to bring on the lazy, disinterested Aribo but he didn't. And maybe it will give some hope to our U21s that maybe there is a pathway with him around.
