So Shroppie (genuine question and not a dig) - do you think what we see every week from this team and manager is acceptable? It's so predictable and the outcome is clear from the get go. When they play at a tempo they look OK - problem is that this is only ever for 20 minutes or so a game.

Hughes has had over 6 months with this team and the defence has regressed beyond belief and continues to do so. What the heck do they do on the training ground day in day out? Go 1-0 up and any intensity goes out of our play and then we always concede because we let the other team back in....Brighton, Fulham, etc, etc. He really is a useless t**t of a manager

Bizarre.......Hughes is terrible. Two bright spots today were Gabi and Yoshi.....both who this t**t of a manager has ignored all season. Bringing on Obafemi with 1 minute left - wtf? Players unfit - who should take the blame for that? Lack of tactics and setup - who should take the blame for that?

Better than most fo the pile of s**e out there. ANd expecting someone who hasn't been picked for ages to come in and be a game changer is laughable. Leaving Long on who has been worse than abysmal is even more laughable

Hughes is an absolute dinosaur and has not got a clue. OUr younger players who have an affinity for the club do not get a look in (STephens, JWP, Sims, Targett, Gallagher) yet the same failures play week in week out. And don't get me started on the 2 donkeys at CB who start ahead of Yoshi and Jack. We are abysmal, unfit and have no clue. Austin - ffs. And if not Austin 2 goals in 60+ games SHane Long. Going to be a long, hard season and I just hope Hughes walks/is fired in the next 2-3 weeks.

Lol.........we are horrific but the really sad thing is that this League is so poor we have a really good chance of staying up. Huddersfield, Cardiff, Newcastle, Brighton, Saints are all absolutely terrible. Never thought I would say this but Hughes is worse, much worse, than Pellegrino. Has not got a clue and all the SToke fans were right. Our players are total dog shi**e mind.

Neither AUstin or INgs have any chance to impress. Midfield is awful.....slow, ponderous, sideways, backwards......rinse and repeat. Where oh where is the creativity? Elyounissi looks a very definite downgrade on Tadic. Underwhelmed so far.

Respectfully, I disagree. He is as useless for us as he was for Stoke last season. I can only think players like Yoshida, Sam, Stephens and many others are very unhappy. Shane Long is not the answer to anything let alone a lone striker. 2 goals in 51 games I think the commentators said for club and country. Hughes has no tactics or nouse for the modern game. PLayers are obviously at fault too - bunch of mentally weak c**ts.

Hughes is a s**t manager who could not organize a p**s up in a brewery. So predictable - and his substitutions and tactics are baffling in the extreme.

It is clear that Hughes has not the slightest intention of developing our own talent and TBH, the glut of players outgoing on loan, Matty Targett being denied a move, etc all leaves a bad taste in the mouth. When you have serial underperformers like Long being preferred over our younger players you know the "SOuthampton Way" is long dead. Employing a dinosaur like Hughes is just the cherry on top. Very disillusioned with Saints and football in general.

HUghes is a terrible manager....utterly terrible. Yes he kept us up (fair play) but he has never done anything to suggest he was what we needed. Baffling teams, tactics and terrible decisions. AUstin, Long, Hoedt......and Gabbi, Yoshi (our best defender) cannot make the bench (that has 4 midfielders on it) Utterly embarrassing......and what was the point of keeping Targett, Gallagher and the like when he won't even give them a chance from the bench. Oh, and see Sims turned the game for Reading when he came on............
