  1. WTF are you whinging about Stephens for? He has done nothing wrong. Hoedt again - misses header and the shockingly awful Cedric not even jumping. But heh, Stephens is terrible.
  2. Yep....really
  3. Hoedt is utter ****e....but most of the muppets on here constantly whine about Stephens. Hoedt is an utter liability. Not impressed with Hughes in the slightest. Overall a season of struggle coming up. Our midfield of Romeu and Lemina is shocking and Everton are carving us open because of these 2 t**ts. Where is Yoshi? Our best defender.
  4. Stephens way better at RB than SOares who was awful. Hoedt to be replaced by Yoshida but then pretty much the same side that finished next game please. First 55 minutes was as dire as anything served up by the clown last season and totally unnecessary playing Burnley at home.
  5. Wonderful.....the totally immobile Austin and 3 CBs against a team that will sit back the whole game. A total c**t in Lemina in midfield. Hughes as uninspiring as I thought he would be. So we'll probably win 3-0!
  6. Quite incredible, some of the views on here. JWP for 10 million......which is 10 million less than JRod, about 18 million less than Maddison, etc. JWP is an excellent player, lives and breathes Saints and has been hard done by both the muppet and Hughes. I would far, far rather have JWP in the side than the w****r that is Lemina who turns up some of the time only, Hoj who is not as good as JWP or Romeu who was rubbish last season and looked poor this pre-season. I have never rated Hughes as a manager and he is showing nothing currently to indicate he is a good manager. Tactics, not giving some of the Academy graduates (JWP, Sims, Gallagher) more game time in pre-season rankles when the likes of LOng and co are blocking their progress. 10 million is ridiculous in todays market
  7. Except a very large payoff when a man on the street could have done a better job than this supposed "coach". Simply awful decisions last year
  8. Not true. Trippier and Pickford were excellent. Rest were absolute dog ****e
  9. I really thought they would beat Croatia......and think they would have if they had not gone so defensive so early
  10. THis should be France's world cup all day long. England don't deserve to be in the Final....been terrible since 2nd half but have exceeded all expectations.
  11. Game over - utterly pathetic defending (again). What the f*** were they doing?
  12. Terrible from Henderson again.....we are overrun in midfield and have not created anything
  13. dear lord.....we look like a pub team right now. Got to settle down
  14. That was coming.....ENgland absolutely dreadful this half
  15. And how many times have you ever seen Vestergaard and Marlon play? Typical saints web nutter who thinks anyone is better than we already have despite never having seen them play before. Proper headcases on here
  16. England's to lose on Wednesday. Croatia are poor and will hopefully still be exhausted Wednesday
  17. England having nothing to fear. Both these sides are terrible. Lets hope for extra time
  18. More than most on here.
  19. Can't believe anyone would give that clown a job. So far out of his depth it was untrue and utterly clueless and without a single attacking instinct. Reed and co completely screwed us over with that muppet.
  20. Bit late to the party on this one. San Diego is an absolutely gorgeous city with perfect weather. Last year we stayed downtown at a Marriott Vacation Club which was an absolutely perfect location, really close to the Gas Lamp district and walking distance to the Marina. Like many West Coast cities, homelessness is a massive problem but never felt unsafe. So many great places to visit in San Diego it is untrue - we loved the Karl Strauss brewery downtown. Great food and beer there. To be honest, if you're flying into LAX I would stay somewhere like Pasadena and skip Palm SPrings which my customers out that way are pretty scathing about. A lot of the LA tourist traps are awful but there are some tremendous places outside of downtown LA.
  21. Completely ambivalent about this appointment. He deserves a chance having kept us up (mainly due to the crap teams around us) but I don;t think this will be a successful marriage long term. Also very concerned that younger players will not get a look in and that he will bring in useless SToke players or past it has beens. Certainly don;'t think we will be seeing entertaining football any time soon as that is not in his DNA
  22. What a bunch of t***s on here. Stephens obviously the latest in a long list of whipping boys. Seriously, I do wonder if some of you understand football at all. Funny how the pundits who played the game are very complimentary about Stephens on the whole. He has done well and simply needs a stronger leader alongside him. To say Stones is twice the player is just outright nonsense. See out forum experts blamed him for the City goal on Sunday whereas it was actually Hoedt playing Jesus onside that was the culprit. Still, why let any truth get in the way of reality eh?
  23. I'd love to see Brendan Rodgers come in - entertainment would be back then. Not convinced, despite the miracle he has pulled off, that Hughes is a good fit for us long term
  24. I knew we would win.....as my Washington Capitals beat Pittsburgh in the NHL play-offs for first time in 20+ years. When my Washington teams (Capitals and Redskins) win Saints invariably do (which obviously, is not that often!)
  25. Tomorrow is quite simple: win or bust. We'll see if any of our players that have been spineless for so much of the season have the stomach for a full-on battle
