  1. He's out injured. Doesn't really matter anyways as there is no place for him in the squad (I would say the same for Aribo who has looked lazy, unfit and disinterested evry time he has come on). Leo, Robinson, Fraser, Fellows, Armstrong (in that role) are all ahead of him now.
  2. The same Charlton that had only lost 1 or 2 at home since last December? The same Charlton that had only conceded a handful all season? It was "only" < insert name here> - well we haven't been beating "its only" for the last 3-4 years. I know you are old and cynical but really? We played some beautiful stuff against both QPR and Sheff Wed in places (with Tonda not having time to really put in place his tactics) and today first half was sensational and everythig Saints have not been for years. Quick, incisive and players getting forward. Tonda clearly deserves to be made our permanent manager: it is clear he has something about him. And I love how he is not scared to bring in the younger players and seeing his reaction to Bragg when he was subbed was a thing of beauty.

    Cam Bragg

Thought he was superb today. Always there to receive the ball, closing down CHarlton players and typically looking to get the ball forward. I would have him in the team ahead of Downes. Showed a lot of promise today and did enough to start against Leicester. Very strong CM options in Jander, Charles, Bragg and Downes and Williams also did well in his debut. I'm liking that Tonda is not afraid to put our Academy graduates in the line up
  4. 100% on the money Ron. Bunch of clueless, classless miserable twats who almost seemed to want us to lose to prove their (incorrect) point
  5. What another fantastic goal. This is dreamland. Where has this team been? Tonda's job for sure - and well deserved. Love it!
  6. What an asbsolutely fucking amazing goal....pass it at the back, nerves aplenty but what an utterly brilliant team goal!
  7. Tonda Eckert's red and white army......
  8. Take that you miserable twats on here. Moan, moan, moan.... This is the best we have played for a very, very long time.
  9. No doubt, their agents got in their ears.....
  10. WHat is wrong with you lot on here? Bar 10-15 minutes that was as comfortable as it gets and Saints played some wonderful, fluid attacking football and then managed the game well once we went 3-1 up. We have 6 points from 2 games (for the first time in 19 months) and I admire Eckert for bringing Williams on at half time. The easy thing to have done would have been to bring on the lazy, disinterested Aribo but he didn't. And maybe it will give some hope to our U21s that maybe there is a pathway with him around.
  11. Well, that didn't age well!
  12. What on earth are you on about? This is a completely different team - where the hell has this play been? We're playing fast, attacking, easy on the eye football and the timidness and defensiveness is no longer there. This is a joy to watch at the moment - although we still look dodgy defensively.
  13. They are protecting RObinson - and rightly so. he cramped up in midweek and had to come off so expecting him to play twice in a handful of days is probably a bit much. I'm glad they're protecting him - look at what happened with Stewart. Playing Azaz though......
  14. Rodgers is a t**T and he ended up faling at Leicester and Celtic as his ego got in the way. Wouldn't want him within a mile of the club. O'Neill - no thanks. Skate through and through. Look at what happened with Redknapp. Carrick - not averse Eckhert - I think he has something about him and just have a feeling he could be an inspired choice. Similar to Rohl in a way and no-one would have been too disappointed with him. Put it this way, if Eckhert wins today from 2 games he'll be the joint 2nd best manager we've had in the SR era. How mental is that?
  15. There really are a bunch of sorry people on here tonight. I'm getting the impression that the keyboard warriors are a little sad we didn't lose. He actually put a lot of effort in tonight (not saying he was good) and made sure he was helping clear the lines at the end when we were hanging on. Azaz was awful - and should have put him through when we were 3 on 2.
  16. What a bunch of utterly miserable t**ts on here. Saints have forgotten how to win so they were always going to make it difficut for themselves. They showed more spirit tonight than they have done for a very long time and put their bodies on the line and didn't crumble. Hopefully that will give them some confidence. Yes Bazunu made a howler for their goal but his save at the end and his catches helped us kill the game off. Fellows and Azaz were absolutely dreadful (again) and Manning is terrible. 3 points and hopefully some confidence going into the Wednesday game
  17. Not filled with confidence when Tonda says 'more or less the same team as for Preston'. After that diabolical display major changes are required
  18. If the rumours are true and the senior players are pushing for Martin that says it all. Those wankers are why we are in the position we are and if they want Martin back he's definitely the wrong choice because this set of gutless, pathetic, weak minded tossers are poison and wanting their mate back really does say it all.
  19. While Still was clearly out of his depth, these utter t**ts of players disgust me. No heart, no bottle and continually getting managers sacked because of their shit attitudes and lack of effort. The likes of THB and Downes and many others can go do one.
  20. Very unlike Adam Blackmore to be so vocal. I think everyone who has any feeling for the club have reached the end of their tether. While Still is clearly not ready for a job of this magnitude (his timid, defensive, long ball selections have shown that) the players are an utter disgrace to the club. It's not like under Wotte and Poortevliet.....We have Armstrong, Downes, THB, Manning, Fraser, Stephens and others who are experienced and should be taking charge but appear unable, or unwilling, to.
  21. I cannot believe the guy is a professional footballer. I think I would offer more at the age of 58! He actively seems to try and stay away from the ball: I know his confidence must be shot but, like so many of our players, he has no heart or grit.

    Finn Azaz

He is a terrible bloody footballer. He goes missing for long periods when the going gets tought, gives the ball away cheaply and has generally been crap for us. Yet he started ahead of Robinson and Fellows. Madness
  23. Got to think that Still is done - utterly pathetic. Yet the young nipper has done more in 2 minutes than Downs has all season. The way he jumped out of the way of the ball as comical. Ali Dia was better.
  24. Azaz - what a fucking terrible signing he's been. Utter shite. And we have 5 defenders and yet are constantly under pressure. Still and most of these players can do one
