  1. YES. From day one. The Primary Reason I no longer go. SMS has a horrible AtmosFear (see what I did there). 'Tis Ruled by The Yoof and The Stewarts. Hate it. Next question.
  2. Certainly is. Would work out at 24 points for the season. (a grand total of 14 points with the deduction) Of course, that really isn't (pray god) gonna happen. Long way to go yet. But not looking too pretty right now I'll grant yer. IF (capitalised IF) we win the next two games that would average at 36 points (26) still relegated. If we achieve the fabled 'three wins in a row' and win the next three league games? (11 points from 7 games) then the average looks pretty decent: 75pts (65) surely a playoff push (?) So, a bit early to talk about our form methinks.
  3. I disagree. (ohh, Trotts out - DECLARED 373-9) sorry, I digress. Now I disagree. Pards has had to build late, once the season has started, the whole team needs a bit more time. And - as an armchair fan - we are sounding A LOT BETTER than last year. 44 games to go...
  4. Not a very nice analogy mUrph... ...but so so apt.
  5. hurrumpf! Hey, we are still building the team I guess. lots of new faces to gel. et-bloody-cetera. Back to Test Match Special as they are currently discussing Lady and The Tramp. Obviously.
  6. ...hand ball!?!?!?! another corner. omg come on saints
  7. ooooooh! aaaaah! Come on Saints. Corner...
  8. We are currently still bottom as well. According to the live table. As useful as that is right now. What a palaver! I salute the 17000 saints fans at SMS. Braver than I, each and everyone of them.
  9. I quite agree. It ruined me a long time ago.
  10. Saints a goal up, and troot gets his test ton! As the aussies keep saying "a century on the 'bu!" ooooh. tense but lovely sport today. I am NOT getting any work done. oh no, none whatsoever. I care not. Saints Hold On!
  11. Nice one Thropey. Sneaky little button thingy on top left does the trick - why could I not see that meself? Probably cos I'm listening to the cricket (brilliant stuff) and trying to work all at the same time! Trotman heads over, Kelvin saves brilliantly from the counter attack...
  12. sound advice, the ol' 'hide in a bush' tactic. useful in many a situation in the modern world and, as Pilchards points out, a mobile bush or shrubbery is a good bit of kit for any subburban warrior to have handy. at least the OB didn't simply knock him to the ground or 'show him some stairs'.
  13. Okay. So I got a paypal message just now saying it hasn't gone through. account is fine, plenty of funds, correct cards etc. Do I just wait - will it automatically try again? Yours, confused of netland.
  14. Good point; well made!
  15. No to drums, yes to flares. Corduroy or otherwise. Having said that; I could bring my 303 and a small PA and I'm sure I could produce some rather spcial beats. ;-) Block 5 - I think that you'll find that 'language' (verbal constructs to comunication) has existed since before mankinds ability to construct a drum, just a small point!?!? :-)
  16. I remember her from school; I sat on the same table as her in Miss Hodginess's class.
  17. A sad day, will we see his like again? A truely valiant servent of the game and a proper old school gentlemen, RIP Sir Bobby.
  18. And the Moon is not a planet, FFS! Although you are of course correct to point out it was named after a Saints player. Otherwise, excellent post FF, raised a smile and got the grey matter working. that is all, carry on.
  19. lovely stuff. nice one trousers mate, and supporting cast. good work all, and thank you! shame bout result though chaps n chapeses init eh!?
  20. if we play well and win 3-0 every week then perhaps only 4500 fans should turn up! ;-)
  21. Come on guys. just because you didn't know what the message said, didn't make it nonsense or cryptic. I understood exactly what soccermom meant and went and picked up the magazinze in question and read the section refrenced. you should all be ASHAMED for not knowing what it meant. tch!
  22. classic quote to end a classic thread. Up until this post I had regarded Tony's comments in the same light as Dan Williams postings on here, but this one takes it to another level. the starting with the 'I cannot tell a lie!' quote, nice one George, the bizarre assertion that because everyone is entitled to their own opinion 'we live in a free world' right through to the reference to Saints as 'your' the final admittence that he's heart was never with this club. Thank Zeus you never succeded Tony, regards and all the best and all that, but good riddance.
  23. Sorry to revive a dying fred for a negative barely saints related comment, but; No. there is no such thing as 'greater southampton'. sure, we are great, but the city is a city and the surrounding towns are their own. Their not even close enough or big enough to be regarded a conorbation (sp ??).
  24. i thought to myself; who is that big black midfielder, he is so dormant?
