  2. Hmm, Turkish being disingenuous to get attention, same old, same old.
  3. Everyone is allowed an opinion, i'd prefer it was an informed opinion but with that comes consequences.
  4. I'm more of a middle of the road kind of guy, just hate to see the famous GM getting lazy.
  5. I do like how you've spun looking out for workers interests to be somehow un-British, surely the companies wanting it all their way and buying politicians to seal the deal is more of a problem? Aside from trying to spin the Trade Unions as the bad guys please explain South Eastern, Go-Ahead, Govia, Elodie Brian and the £25Million of taxpayer funding which is now under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office? No sniff of Union problems, or is that too inconvenient? Come on GM, you used to be good at this, the lazy attitude to your work is making me sad for the old days.
  6. Would love to know where her 'team' were when she decided to do this, utter contempt for the workers. Did she actually think she would come out on top?
  7. You do realise that Communists, Socialists and Marxists are different, right? And whilst i know you're fishing, explain the Capitalist train companies? Cheers.
  8. Private Eye has been outstanding the last couple of months, Boris and his mate Lebedev and the interactions with Farage and Banks make me wonder when its all going to implode. What with the naming in parliament of them as agents of Russia. I think the main problem with Brexiteers will be trying to explain that they weren't swayed by 30 years of propaganda treatment direct from the Kremlin.
  9. I'll kick off, i'd like to be down the Hampshire Bowman with friends and my dogs with a pint a Guinness and whatever is the Pie on offer. Next.
  10. Very few players from overseas leagues hit the ground running, whatever the price bracket. The only league aside from ours where most players appear to be at least competitive from the start appears to be Scotland. So should we be looking there for relative bargains. I like Mitrovic at Fulham but i'm guessing he's out of price range with the season he's having. The youngsters from other clubs is a decent route but you can't populate the first team like that, you need experience. The main priority needs to be a keeper, followed by a striker.
  11. Enjoyed that, always struck me that the injury straight away meant he went from hitting the ground in form to never quite getting to be the player he could have been. Always a 100% effort guy though.
  12. We had a self-annointed independent supporters club consisting of fans with the best intentions and a bunch of publicity hungry muppets, they used to be the goto gob anytime the media wanted an opinion about Saints. Hugely embarrassing for the regular fan who likes to goto matches. I won't name names but a few post on here so i expect to be shot down with a revisionist history of what actually happened, expect Javi's name to get mixed up with it.
  13. Mainly Un-Guided Missile, he may need his targeting recalibrated.
  14. Still waiting for some of the predictions in the last couple of pages to be proved correct, unlike certain posters claiming they were gold standard nailed on. Hmm Tick tock.
  15. I'm not sure this is a record but it might be the most important title and by far the most admired by other clubs "firms" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/sports_talk/1879433.stm
  16. Hold your hats, a first for this forum. I admit i was wrong. You could probably add Billy Sharp to that. I'm going for a lie down.
  17. Forgot about him, could and should have been great; not sure what went wrong.
  18. Keep watching his goal from Saturday and it reminded me of Marian or Shearer, i don't think we've had a striker with the instinct to go directly towards goal since those two, maybe Beattie but not really.
  19. Fuck John Terry, i don't want that complete cunt anywhere near our club, i'd rather have saggy chops back.
  20. I haven't seen the stats, show me the stats. Ta.
  21. I'm a bit concerned that Turkish et al aren't quite cutting though like they used to, has Brexit affected their sharpness?
  22. Bit of bandwagon jumping but loving Greta Van Fleet - The battle at garden's gate and Burna Boy - Twice as Tall both brilliant IMO
  23. Hey Buddy, just thought i'd help you with this dictionary definition. Depending on your values, i'm right. Virtue Signalling noun the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.
