  1. Congratulations, they've just announced it on twitter.
  2. Bugger Puncheon, what about the stunning Caroline Winberg, possibly the best looking woman ever?
  3. QPR - Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips & Danny Simpson Everton - Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines and most of the team Fulham - John Arne Riise & David Stockdale Cardiff - Peter Odemwingie, Mark Hudson & Aron Gunnarsson Reading - Sean Morrison Port Vale - Louis Dodds Norwich players - Robert Snodgrass, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, Wes Hoolahan and Leroy Fer Millwall - Martyn Waghorn Newcastle - Mike Williamson, Paul Dummett & Alan Pardew Arsenal - Oliver Giroud
  4. You'll be done by 5 at the very latest and that's if you're on a Jury, half the time is spent waiting around so you might not even have to come in on certain days or go at lunch time. The legal process is glacially slow.
  5. Not fussed by Arcade Fire, they just leave me cold. How can you not want to see Fleetwood Mac in the old timers slot? I'd like another Rap/Hip-Hop act, not sure who, possibly Drake.
  6. Fleetwood Mac and Depeche Mode to be headliners, any other rumours?
  7. Ok Jamie, i'll bite, why?
  8. I'm not sure the British public actually know what they would be voting for, they seem to think it's just about immigration and straight bananas.
  9. Sadly i think Farage is wasted on UKIP, i'm not a massive fan of his but he stirs things up in a positive fashion. The rest of UKIP however are drawing on peoples fears and misconceptions due to the poor economy, nobody whined about Europe or immigration when the economy was doing well. It has shades of an Amateur Dramatics group re-enacment of the rise of the Nazi party in 30's Germany.
  10. Agreed, whoever designed that website needs a beating.
  11. That is ****ing hilarious, even the poster looks like a bloke in a balaclava. On a side note if people want to ban the burkha shouldn't there also be a ban on the wearing of hoodies and baseball caps? I'm sure the burkha is used in practically zero crimes in this country by comparison and i would also suggest that they're certainly more intimidating to the majority of people.
  12. Isn't this about how we feel about the veil rather than what it actually represents, if you feel threatened and need to cross the road that says more about what's going on in your head than the wearer. The only occasion where it should be essential to remove the veil is when identity is needed such as court or passport control.
  13. PM sent regarding eating out.
  14. I've got a friend who's a 'hatted chef' (Aussie Michelin Star) in NSW, would you like me to ask him for recommendations for eating out in Sydney?
  15. So people with nothing to gain like Friends of the Earth are wrong and the people who will gain financially are right? I see a few people in high places getting briefcases full of reddies.
  16. If you want to get a little agitated then follow the link above and then click on the Premier League Team Guide to Saints, any guesses as to which player gets the most coverage?
  17. As above, if they don't have insurance or full payment then no test drives. Don't leave anyone alone with the car or keys. Highlight any problems, it makes you appear honest. If taking cash then check all the notes and count carefully, if at all possible get a bank transfer (unless its under a grand). Good luck.
  18. So where do you stand? The cut and paste job you just posted doesn't really say anything. Are you Sarah Palin in disguise? Is it damp under the bridge?
  19. All those barmaids are a drain on resources.
  20. Okay, fair point so i'm giving this link to Nature.com which is the website for Nature magazine a well respected scientific journal. Nature magazine article
  21. Chemical companies Bayer & Syngenta are suing the EU for saving Bees! Don't let them. That could mean no more Cider or Gin. Dickheads. Save the Bees
  22. My SIL is Brasilian, we visited about 4 years ago and stayed in Brasilia and Natal. The country is fantastic, the people friendly and the food is eclectic but generally good (best steak you'll ever have!), great seafood and sweet pizza - strawberry & chocolate and cinnamon which are actually alot better than they sound. Beer comes almost frozen, the local spirit is Cachaca (sugar-cane rum) and is minging. Great for Sushi as Brasil has the largest Japanese population outside Japan. Salvador is the originator of Carnival in Brasil and considered to be better than Rio by the natives. As has been said usual rules apply, no expensive looking cameras, phones or jewellery or watches to be on the safe side. Learn some phrases, although a lot of people speak a little english, don't get hammered and act like an arse. The airlines are decent with mostly modern aircraft, clothing is expensive although Havaianas (flip-flops) are fantastic and cheap in the supermarkets. The rich and poor live side by side and you may see some sights which don't sit well but nothing too bad, although i felt perfectly safe the in-laws didn't really like us being out on our own, as we apparently didn't have a sixth sense for potential problems. Generally be nice, polite and not flash and you'll have a fantastic time.
  23. Aside from readers of the Daily Express does anyone actually give a ****?
  24. I think its a great location, although not very pretty at the moment it's about as near to the city centre as you can get and it has reasonable transport links. If you've ever been to Reading or Derby you'll know that being stuck on an industrial estate on the outskirts of town is much worse.
